I actually haven’t had too much trouble, surprisingly, considering the past couple of years I’ve had such a horrid art block all I could do was sketch. I should be finishing up my last one tonight, it’s inked and waiting for some color of some sort.
How much are you hoping to get for each, Kgronski.
I do actually have a costume this year, since we’re allowed to dress up at work. Hopefully I’ll have photos to share! I’m going as a Hogwarts student, cloak, tie, sweater (which was destined for ebay with the rest of it after use, but I think I will keep) borrowed wand and all.
Let me just admit that I’m quite glad that it’s supposed to be 62 degrees out Friday when I’m at work, cuz I forsee possible overheating!
I have two completed, one sketched (Which may just be left as a sketch, because I like it that way).
Uh, is that top one a funnel web?
I don’t mind spiders, generally speaking, but I’d rather they not be *on* me.
Actually…that’s exactly what she looks like…a recluse. I can’t see her back clearly enough, but her body shape is right.
Edit: Could also be just a little brown house spider, after a quick google search.
Random and Bump.
Guess I need to get started on mine.
It’s better to keep them trimmed to avoid having the quick grow out long and you having to start the laborious process of trimming a little at a time to get the quick to retreat again.
It takes a very long time for the nails to curl back into the pads and honestly it doesn’t happen super often, and mostly in older dogs. I would say if you’re up to it, you probably ought to trim them a bit at least once a month, just as a matter of grooming and comfort for pooch.
I’m considering selling my BEP Lap and was wondering what sort of interest there was. If I did decide to sell, I’d be looking for better than store price.
ETA: She’s a little dusty, but nothing a brush off won’t fix. Mint with box and tag.
I had ribs for dinner?
Really, I’m not much of a party person. Ribs and cake. And some flowers and balloons from my mother.
Thank yew!
Well, if you want to quantify it, give yourself something tangible, start marking good days vs. bad days on the calendar. When the bad start outnumbering the good, then you have a decision to make shortly.
I put my gal down at the end of this past July. The decision itself wasn’t hard, because she was so very sick, not herself, not eating and the last day she spent most of it throwing up. The hardest part was getting used to her not being there. Out of two weeks, she had two good days where she wanted to chase her ball and wallow in the floor.
If you haven’t already, give yourself a quiet moment both with and without her and think it over. You will know when it is time to let go if you listen to yourself.

I’m not a great artist, myself, but it might be fun to try. I would have to see how badly my artistic skills have atrophied over the years before I could commit. It wouldn’t be fair to anyone else if all I could produce was a visual form of doggerel.
You can get them already cut, or you can cut your own. I bought some precut pieces of both bristol and illustration board from Hobby Lobby.
Yeah, I want that cat.
