Hah, my brother would have been directed to the stove and informed that he knows perfectly well how to cook, and to have fun.
My mother never did coddle us much.
No, they came with teal too.
6 weeks? that’d amount to 6 pounds or so lost for me, I tend to go slow, but it’s one of those things where I’m trying to make a lifestyle change and not just a ‘short term’ change.
I’m on SparkPeople.com (and I use their app on my phone, which has been a godsend, since I always have my phone and can always record what I’ve eaten whenever, wherever, instead of waiting to get to my computer).
So far it’s the calories in, calories out change for me, including exercise. I’ve lost 20lbs since January, so it may take me a year or two to get everything off, but it’s coming off for sure.
Exercise, make better choices about what you eat, and always eat at least 1200 calories in a day. Eating anything less than that will cause you problems down the road (sure you’d lose weight while you ate only 800 calories a day, but when you started eating properly again, your body will go nuts packing on the pounds in preparation for another starvation).
He’s more dog than anything else, possibly shepherd/husky. Something about the shape of his head. I wouldn’t say he’s not got a drop or two of wolf blood though.
I dunno. I kind of think the whole thing needs a little color. In Illustration board, I can make acrylics act like watercolor, which is how I’d use them.
The bonus is though that this sketch is in my moleskine book, so I’d be transferring it anyway, which means if I screw it up the first time, the original sketch is unmarred and I can try again.
Aw, I wish I could take that EmPea riser off your hands, but I’d only be able to give you half what he’s worth and even then not for another month at least. 🙁
I’m sanding down the belly of the new Oriental dragon master now. We are gonna remake the molds and *hopefully* start producing them again – if the casting problems with this kind of rainbow shaped piece can be made a little better.
We got the Sun and Moon dragon coming along also…
So -is maybe possible!Yay!! The orientals were always my favorite.
They’re vinyl graphics. They’re cut from vector files made in a program like Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.
The image is created in the program, then the sign shop/printer takes it into a program that communicates with the cutter, which cuts the image from the vinyl. The excess vinyl is pulled away from the backing, leaving the image behind. The image is then taped, so for application, the backing can be pulled off, the graphic applied and the tape removed. Tada! Vinyl graphic!
I have a cutter and I can do them, especially on a smaller scale. It’s just me and dad running the equipment, so if you’re not wanting a huge order, we don’t have a minimum.
I just got Little Big Planet as part of Sony’s ‘Welcome Back’ deal; I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Mainly my PS3 is a BluRay player though. It’s the Wii and DS’s (DS, DSi and 3DS) that get most of the games and play time. I’ve just cleared Pokemon Black and White, and am eagerly awaiting the 3DS version of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in two weeks. My favorite series is Sonic the Hedgehog, but I’ve got a slew of Super Marios, Zeldas, and Pokemon. Also I love Okami (and Okamiden) and the Endless Ocean titles. On the computer, I do Sims 2, SimLife, and Zoo Tycoon.
Is it just me, or does Okamiden have some of the most heart wrenching cut scenes ever? I love the game just as much as I love the original, but I don’t remember feeling depressed at certain points in the Okami story.
I have a PS2, which I haven’t played in quite some time, a Wii and a DS. Okami is my favorite game, both for the art and the gameplay. I like Twilight Princess, but I only tend to play it when I’m prepared for some frustration (dude, game is HARD in places).
Super Mario brothers, of course, and Transformers. I loved Spyro and Sly Cooper on the PS2. I should dig that thing out and play it some (I guess it still works).
Well drat. Grulla comes up just when I don’t have the funds. Maybe next time I guess.
Too bad I had to sit this one out. Maybe next time!
I think you have done a wonderful job with your photography and a lot of your offerings look very interesting. When I have some extra cash (car insurance on the Mustang is due in a couple of weeks, that’s going to wipe me out) I think I’ll spring for some.
Might I also suggest putting some things up on Artfire (artfire.com) and seeing how goes there as well? They have a Basic account, which is free, and a Pro account, which is $10 a month and offers tons of tools which some people swear by, but I haven’t tried the pro option for my collars yet.
If you have locally owned boutiques, you might also see if you can get them to carry your things in their shops, or find art and craft festivals to attend if you have the time.
The best of luck to you and to your hubs!
Obviously, I collect Transformers!
The shelf looks a little sparse, but that’s only because I can’t stand clutter. I actually have about 600+ figures I’ve been keeping around since was a kid. Usually every month or so I rearrange them so that everyone gets equal love, or to make little scenes like this:
Look at those cheeky Windstones trying to get in the picture! XD
I stick mostly with Optimus Prime when I go to pick up a Transformer toy, but this collection (and the scenes therein, dear old Grimlock) amuses me.
Sent you a PM via this board too!
Adaneth, you have an LJ right? Laurie, do you? Dragonmedley, you’re already on my list of course.
