6 weeks? that’d amount to 6 pounds or so lost for me, I tend to go slow, but it’s one of those things where I’m trying to make a lifestyle change and not just a ‘short term’ change.

I’m on SparkPeople.com (and I use their app on my phone, which has been a godsend, since I always have my phone and can always record what I’ve eaten whenever, wherever, instead of waiting to get to my computer).

So far it’s the calories in, calories out change for me, including exercise. I’ve lost 20lbs since January, so it may take me a year or two to get everything off, but it’s coming off for sure.

Exercise, make better choices about what you eat, and always eat at least 1200 calories in a day. Eating anything less than that will cause you problems down the road (sure you’d lose weight while you ate only 800 calories a day, but when you started eating properly again, your body will go nuts packing on the pounds in preparation for another starvation).
