The muse is cute and all, but I’m ready for the PYO Unicorns and the large winged wolf. 😛
AdaraSky wrote:Sorry, didn’t know you couldn’t see stuff from my email. The email doesn’t say dear ebay member or anything it starts off Ebay sent this message to davidsonkid. “Ebay sent this message on behalf of an ebay member via email.” It says “To reply to this offer please reply to the seller at this address”. Its a hotmail address. Weird thing to is on the auction page it says the seller is in Texas and on the email it says ebay uk co. Well anyways I have emailed the seller direct so I hope to here from them soon. Thanks you guys.
Nevernevernevernevernever click on links in your email that take you to anything that looks like an ebay or paypal page. If they’re real, you can go to ebay.com or paypal.com and log in properly, and the messages will be there in your message box or My Ebay.
I’m with everyone else. If this message has not shown up in your ‘My Ebay’ it’s a scam, and you should not be sending them any money.
I’ve had phishing emails before, but went to paypal.com to check my transactions instead of logging in with the (rather convenient “if you didn’t make this payment, click here” link) and I’m certainly glad I didn’t. They had be going for a split second, but no longer than that.
Be super careful, Adara!
You have to type that channel into the box, it’s not on the drop-down menu
Megani-chan wrote:*sigh* The news just said that the shooter was confirmed to be a student there, a senior boy from South Korea. Apparently he was a “loner” so they’re having a hard time finding out much about him. They found the receipt for a 9 mm. in his backpack though… They still can’t figure out a motive.
*sigh* again. 🙁
As far as motive, I heard on the radio this morning that the two students shot in the dorms were his ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend. And then I suppose the massacre that followed two hours later was just an extension of that anger. Are Steve and DC reliable? ;P
Regardless of motive, heartbroke, pissed off, or whatever, it was a horrible thing to do. People just don’t seem to have restraint anymore. Nothing in moderation, everything in excess.
This makes me want to avoid crowds at SIU, so if somebody decides to shoot up a crowd, I won’t be in it.

Its very much a matter of being a female in a male dominated industry. Its like tring to get in on being a driver in nascar. Sure some women do it…but not many and its hard to get in on the “all boys club”.
For every one woman artist there are probably 5,000 men doing it. Its hard to get in the circle ya know? I like to think I am a good artist…I just wanted a chance. I mean its not like you get paid as an apprentence.Eh, part of the reason women have such a difficult time in NASCAR and not in the smaller racing circuits, is because they just simply don’t have the upper body strength to handle the car at the speeds they need to be driving to win.
In racing, there is no such thing as power steering. I’ve driven a mini sprint, and thanked God I am stronger in the arms, shoulders and chest than most women, or I would have been in trouble. It’s not easy to do, and you can’t be a weakling to do it.
I would love to see a woman come into the circuit and kick ass, but unless she’s pretty beefed up, it’s going to be hard on her.
As for the tattooing apprenticeship – I’ve given it thought, and there are a couple of shops here in Carbondale who do have women working there. I think it depends more on the area than anything else.

Aww, what a sweet, squishy golden face.
Good luck. I snagged mine off of ebay over christmas and it weren’t cheap. Hopefully one will pop up for you soon.
I’m sort of like a racoon, I tend to pick up whatever’s shiny at the moment.
But the only other substantial collection of mine is diecast cars, mostly NASCAR diecast, with a smattering of others.
Oh, and the beanie baby collection I inherited (read: my grandmother bought enough for us three girl grandkids to each have one of every kind) when my grandmother died.

I could get with that. 😉
I don’t think ol’ Steve needs any financial help either. 😉
The story is awesome, now send it to Mythbusters just for sh*ts ‘n giggles.
What I can’t get over are the idiotic comments left by people saying they *know* that it could/couldn’t/whatever have happened. Not to mention the one where the chick was lamenting the dead insurgent.
Nevermind the dead man would have lopped her head off and smiled while he did it.
But yes, soldier should get a new iPod, regardless, because the story is just that good and he just got that lucky!
She should at least try, if he used a credit card. Just a “Hey, we did this and we realized it was a scam, stop that payment/I want to dispute the charge.”
Taking second chance offers is OK, as long as you log into my ebay and look for them instead of going through your email.
That really sucks in the worst kind of way. I’m sorry it happened to you!
I think I’d have to see a picture of a BG curlie before I bought one. Is there one posted somewhere?
Shipping sounds a bit steep…
