Are you also from Alberta? I live in Calgary!

Yep, we live in Fort McMurray! We go to the CCEE every year, this is the first time I’m dressing up though, Friday I will be dressed as Clara from The Guild, and Saturday will be the Jaffa, Sunday I will be myself for most of my photo ops lol!

That last one is painted pretty close to Peacock which I believe is copywrited. But do people actually buy painted chicken and turkey feet, WTH?

Hey, I bought some painted chicken feet. The turkey foot I bought isn’t painted though.

    creepy LOL

Yep, the girl in the photo next to me was dressed up like Codex! People kept telling me about the Codex girl all day long, and people kept telling her about me, HAHA, it took forever for us to see each other though LOL.

Someone did a beautiful job of editing for this. Thank you for sharing! I’m a HUGE fan of the LOTR movies and I enjoy playing Lord of the Rings Online. Oh, and I loved the first installment of The Hobbit.

So did I but I imagined the troll scene where they get argue until dawn and get petrified to be a bit more…. I don’t know. It just wasn’t what I pictured, and it was my favorite scene from the book! *pouts*

I saw a video the other day of Leonard Nimoy singing a song about Bilbo Baggins. It was weird, because I kept picturing Spock singing it and that just does not mesh well in my brain.

That song was all that got me through watching The Hobbit, honestly singing The Ballad Of Bilbo Baggins was what kept me awake, LOL. The Hobbit was my favourite of his books and thus far the movie has ruined it for me 🙁

I do love the song though, LOL, I wonder if he would ahve sang it for us at the convention!

    IT’S SO FLUFFY!!!

lol that was my first thought ^^ Those are amazing!

I waaaaants a pink dragon >.> Do you make those to sell as well, Ruffian?

The lady that made the pattern for the unicorn fashioned it after the unicorn in Despicable Me http://sweetncutecreations.tumblr.com/post/19282968432/yagi-unicorn LOL.

The dragon was another free pattern http://heavens-hellcat.livejournal.com/807.html if you know anyone that crochets it was a very easy pattern.

Firearm control has been mentioned twice now, and I just want to gently remind everyone that political topics are off limits here.

If you are concerned about that issue or one of the many others surrounding tragedies like this, please seek other, more appropriate forums to discuss them on.

Do not use tragedy as our media does– as a sounding board for politics and drama!!

Let us focus instead our sympathy on the victims and their families, and what good we can bring to the world individually in the spirit of trying to help.

Sorry Jennifer, one of those was me and I was really just curious what the rules in Connecticut, not for political, just for curiosity’s sake. I’m in Canada we have federal gun control.
