Checkout was fine for me! International order, if that makes any difference.

We intend to make adult sized Oriental Dragons in white – I’m not sure which ones will be when, but its what we hope to do!

Looking forward to it, like you have no idea, I made a weird squeak out loud just when I read the email about the baby…! No rush of course 😉 But I think the baby looks gorgeous, I’m glad I was able to nab one.

The Wedding Cake dragons looked perfect with the blue eyes, though.

I had to look these guys up and I totally agree! I think it’s because they have silver accents, which look way better with blue than gold would.

There will be no satisfying us Melody! When you ask, we might as well just give you our bank account numbers! I think it is wonderful that you are so involved with your collectors here on the forum. There aren’t many companies like yours. Thanks for everything you do to make us happy!

I’ve noticed this again and again. It’s a real pleasure to see a company that cares so much about its customers and fans. You guys really go out of your way to make us happy, and we appreciate it so much!

In regards to the “natural production colour” topic, I think a lot of people would love to complete their families of the original colour set 🙂

Horrible, awful, washed out photos that do the Windstones in them no justice, and should never, ever, be posted. Yet, I post them as I have no motivation to try to take better ones. :p Missing from these photos are a gold Emperor, Black gold lap, and a red fox pebble which I got after that pebble group shot was taken. Plus a few pieces I have up for sale, so I have them boxed up.

I love your Poads! And the older animals! That armadillo and the cats are to die for.

Who’s that little critter in between the griffon and the bears?

As I said in the pebble thread, I really did mean taking pictures of all the things! Sorry for the slight pic spam!

Windstones used to just occupy a bookcase in my room. Now they are scattered just about everywhere.

    Let’s start with the dragons!

And of course the pebbles, but I won’t post those here again. Already more than enough pictures!

What a great collection! The barn swallow Lap is lovely!

What is the light green Moon oriental’s colour scheme called?

in reply to: Cart not Calculating Shipping? #926751

Oddly enough, I was thinking “Guess this will be a good stress test for the new servers,” when in reality the site was back up fairly quickly and it was the cart that ended up being the issue 😛

I just got home and saw the new standing baby ki-rins in the store and was so excited to get one. With that said I am wondering if there will be a batch of grab bag standing kirins coming our soon or in the future? I was hoping to get a couple pieces together but if they will be a while I may just get one of the albino ones for now.

If the standing babies haven’t been done as grab bags yet my next question is what will be the next grab bag batch? Are you going to be doing the merle and brindle wolves soon or perhaps do a new batch of baby unicorns or young poads? It’s been a while since those have come out. Of course I want them all but am just curious what will be coming out next.

We have plenty of these small-footed standing kirins to paint, like about 400 more… so, yes I could do a grab bag batch of those next. They won’t be the easiest to paint super fancy because of the scale texture, but I can take a stab at it.
So we want bright colors, or natural colors? Or everything all together?

I think it’d be nice to do two batches – One fantasy/bright, the other natural, so people can have a little more control over what they get, but it’s still a surprise. I liked the way the Hoppy Poads worked, for example. Plus then there can probably be a price difference to compensate for the harder-to-paint fancier ones, maybe.

How many Gothics are in carts? Maybe if everything is canceled, those people can get first dibs later somehow…

    Me, I just want my ki-rins 😉

At least it seems we’re all in the same boat here. I just hope my timer running out doesn’t lose me anything!

I’d be pretty wary about saying something unless you’re 100% sure… Any chance you can get a photo to post here to compare side-by-side?

in reply to: Need to vent!!! Sketchy ebay seller #926555

I was also bidding on this Ruby and I was pretty frustrated to see it canceled and then sold BIN to someone who was clearly waiting for it.

I’m not against that sort of thing at all, I just think there’s a nicer way to do it, you know? Cancelling the bids suddenly and then re-listing it just leaves everyone confused.

I recently sold a popular item with several good offers, but someone else asked me if they could do a payment plan outside of eBay. I knew the person already so I asked if they’d just BIN the item – Which they did. We canceled the transaction afterwards, but at least with the BIN fulfilled I figured it’d be less disappointing to the participants. The listing still says “sold” not “canceled” at the end of the day.

Admittedly I almost screwed myself when eBay asked me for over 400$ in listing fees despite the transaction. Thankfully they credited me the fees, but that was a tiny heart attack, lol :p

All of these are so lovely, thanks for sharing 🙂

Wow, congrats! I love the colours on this one.

    Hi Melody,

Would it be possible to make a batch of the arctic and bat eared foxes in ivory? It’s such a fresh, lovely colour. Now that we have the wolf, red fox, and fennec in ivory, it would be nice to complete the family.

    Thanks.

Oh probably. It isn’t the easiest color to do, it turns out! Lots of opportunity for paint messups

Next time you happen to have pebble lady and fat cats cast, I’m sure the “rejects” would make lovely Ivories too!
