Danny had his two year bronc and an mri done on his lungs last week and they told us today they think he has lung cancer. We are waiting for the oncologist to call us so we can schedule him to get an invasive lung biopsy so we know what we are dealing with. He didn’t feel bad at all but he had a 10% drop in his pulmonary function test so thats why the did the mri. They said there is a small nodule in his left lung that is 1cm. They told us last year he had something there but they though it was scar tissue from his surgery. We are pretty freaked out right now and I wish the damn oncologist would call us so we could get this test scheduled!
My husband underwent his double lung transplant. Today he is doing great, running around chasing Alyssa and also trying to help those who are about to undertake the journey we endured two years ago. Neither of us have been on the forum much lately (I’ve been having trouble logging in) but I just wanted to let my windstone family know that we are alive and kicking lol. Thank you guys for helping me through the roller coaster that was my life while waiting for his life saving surgery. We had a little get together with some family and friends at the ren fair to celebrate. I was to busy trying to catch Alyssa to get any really good picks and of course I’m waiting for our friends to send me the ones they took so here is the best one I have of Danny and Alyssa.

I need to still work on them and bring the black down a little more. Its hard to paint with Alyssa screaming for your attention 😀

Thank you, I kind of have a feeling for what they are going through. I know my husbands ups and downs were so stressful and took a great toll on me but to have that happen to your child?! I feel so bad for the parents. I know the father from work and he is a really good guy. I can’t believe that children have to suffer like this, its just not right.
I’m bumping this thread because Ally has taken a turn for the worse. Her family is asking for any prayers they can get. I feel so bad for this little girl having gone through all she has. I remember when Danny was sick and how devastating that was I just can’t imagine going through that with a child.
/envy! I want a protodrake mount so bad but I haven’t had any luck getting one. I finally joined a raiding guild so hopefully I can get an uber mount too.
I’m a little confused, did they send you an email saying the fledgling dragon was out of stock and that was the email you sent them in return?
Ugh I wasn’t on today because I’ve been dealing with Alyssa’s diaper rash. Now I get on and see fledgies have come and gone 😥
Lol thats where I heard it first. I was like “oh lord not only do I have to hear Michael Jackson but now they are making stuff up with Billy Mays”. At least its not the same old Chuck Norris jokes all the time now.
I knew Farrah Fawcett was going to go soon but Michael Jackson and now Billy Mays?! WTH!
