I’ve got an old hartland performance horse, at least I think he’s the performance horse, and he’s been the worst that I’ve ever worked with. Either the paint refuses to stick to him and flakes off or it does this nasty crinkle effect I hate. I’m about ready to toss the meanie in the trash. And I actually did lightly sand most of his body to make the paint stick but now it’s crinkling on his eyes and nose. Aaaaaaaarrrgh! 🙁
I’ve not heard of it but one of my old texts says it is “an autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system attacks it’s own tissues” and that there are two kinds, DLE and SLE, SLE being the hardest of the two. I was hoping to find something helpful but all my book gave was a very general description. All of us wish we could help so let us know if there’s anything we can do. I’d mail you a cake but it would get squished when I put it in the envelope. Take care and keep us posted.

My husband has developed what I’ve nicknamed “the Ebay look”. It’s when he knows I’m bidding on something windstone.
I actually was only interested in the hatchling of that pair if you did get them, but I’m afraid of going broke on the three I’m bidding on so I really can’t commit to anything but let me know if you do get them and want to resell the hatchling.
I’m so excited!!!!!!!! I sat forever deciding what to bid on. Go figure it wasn’t even what I origionally thought I would bid on. Does anyone else ever do that?? Oh, I hope I get them! I hate ebay sometimes, it would be so much less stress to just be able to know its yours but I may have to delay getting my artist prints run for six more weeks or maybe just do the cow cause its nearly 900 dollars cheaper to print. It’s an addiction, you guys are a bad influence but I love it! I bid on the white father, an old green father and the fledgling white. I’m considering trying to get several of the father dragons in my favorite colors. He’s probably my favorite mold along with the fledgies.
I’d recommend going ahead and ordering direct. You’ll probably feel better knowing you can trust who you’re ordering from.
