He is lovely, Congratulations! 🙂
~~Grabby hands at Hannah’s poads!!!!!!!!!!~~
Soooo pretty.
Hey there Nirvanacat, it’s great to see you back! 😀 We’ve missed your shenanigans around here, it hasn’t been the same without you.
😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
I had a wonderful time looking through all the pics, they are awesome!
I love that dark emperor, he’s lovely! Also found it humorous that a poad pooped out a stretchy marble. Thanks for sharing all the pics!
The Fat Cat Pebble. Purple most likely. 😛
Sand would be pretty on her. I also like the indigo color.
I buy the automotive flake and put it in my own airbrush medium at the concentration I like.
If you’re not familiar with mixing your own paint I wouldn’t recommend this method…but I have issues with fluid paints going bad due to my not using large quantities of single colors, so this works wonderfully for me.
With expensive colors I prefer this because pigments never solidify or go bad.
Plus it’s only $20 for 4oz. Which is pigment alone…this makes a much larger volume when you’re talking about fluid paint.

this flake is somewhat larger than the windstone rainbow flake, and needs applied in a couple of light layers, without over pigmenting your medium for it to work properly.
Also, keep in mind that this website has several different types of metal flake. In case you try to work with larger flakes, I had to refit my airbrush with a .5mm conversion set because some flakes will not go through a standard .35mm
I like the dark brown one with bright white cheek patches two poads below your yellow circled one.
I’ll confess, i was really hopin to win this time around. But, I’m still happy for the person who did win. Be sure to tell us your pick!
Congrats~!
If there are autumn leaf, I’ll have to find someone to beg so I can trade for one! Well, same goes for the old green….They’re my two favorite colors.
old green and autumn leaf would be my most anticipated colors!
I have one in our planted aquarium, and he is so much fun to watch!
Entered, Good luck to everyone hoping!
I’ve found deviantart to be fairly decent, though I get more conversation and comments on facebook art posts.
I left livejournal as well, some due to low traffic, and then completely when they started with the ads. I found blogger had zero traffic, and I don’t particularly like tumbler’s comment setup.
I use Pinterest and have a couple boards for my work, I love how you can arrange them by category into a collage, which then link back to their original pages, whether it be my shop, or deviantart account. However I’ve not had many comments or conversation type connections there.
I watch a couple artists on twitter.
Facebook and Deviantart are definitely my favorites as far as interactions and traffic. Hope this helps.
