Upon request, a couple progress pics of ‘Opal Matrix’! He looks rough, but I’m still not quite done with his base coat. Probably won’t be for awhile either. I have high hopes for him though!

Finished up with the seasonal job and it helped me to be able to afford my first semester of school. Anatomy is going really well for me. Whenever I have a bit of extra time (which isn’t often I can tell you!) I’m working on ‘Opal Matrix’. Barely getting a chance to work on this little dragon! I think its the longest I’ve had an unfinished piece other than my very first PYO. That’s about it for now. Oh, I guess I could ask if anyone wants to see an in progress pic of ‘Opal Matrix’. Other than that hope things are going well for everyone.

He’s beautifully done and one of the few Griffs that I love enough to bid on if I had funds. And I have to say that before I clicked on the auction link I genuinely thought that he was one Melody had painted. His color patterns and style are reminiscent of some of Melody’s paint work. He’s really just amazing to look at Gina. You keep churning out gorgeous paint schemes and they’re getting more amazing the longer you do it!

We’ll see how pooped out I am in the coming days. Two part time jobs (though the seasonal one would be better if it gave me more hours) kind of gets you running around a bit so we’ll see.

I’m hoping to go into Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I’ve already been accepted as a candidate for progression to the program. I just need to take a few pre-req courses and take a test to see if I can get into the program proper. It’ll be a year at minimum before I can try to get into the program. Fortunately I might not have to take all the pre-req courses because of transfer credits from my already existing B.S. in Biology. Which I can tell you is a huge relief!

Reaper Miniature ‘Bones’ Deathsleet Diorama
I feel a little silly just doing a ‘bump’ (maybe it’s me but sometimes I feel that since the forum changed it’s harder for people to spot new posts, could be my imagination of course). This is ‘Wild Primrose’. He was a blank paint your own mask designed and created by Melita Curphy (aka Missmonster). I really enjoyed painting this mask. And while I absolutely love him, I reluctantly have to put him up for sale to fund my going back to school attempt. It hurts to have to do it because Missmonster only does limited runs of her masks and once they sell out she never makes them again! And needless to say, this amazing mask is SOLD OUT! So I’ll never get to paint another one of him again. This makes him a one of a kind and hard to let go of because I originally bought him for just me. T_T But necessities first! And my future stable career is definitely a necessity! I’m just barely willing to let him go for $400 USD.

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_nameReally beautiful coloration and blending! I especially like the patterning on the lower body. For the eyes…its a shame you don’t have metallic gold. That would be a wonderful match for the gold accenting on the hooves and the chain.
