I absolutely cannot wait for this Kickstarter Melody! 😀 One day if you feel inspired, I’d love to see poads (maybe young?) painted with some of the unique plants and other flora found in The Veligent. Those are so unique and beautiful!

Last week I was contacted by an absolutely dearhearted forum member and they offered me my grail kirin I had posted photos of previously. I can’t thank them enough! <3 Here is my new special kirin; I adore her, thank you so so much! The kindness of the folks here never cease to amazing me. 🙂
And here is my beloved group of kirins together; all of which have been traded to me by other forum members who’ve been kind enough to connect me to my very favorites. I wouldn’t have them if it weren’t for the kindness of others. Thank you all so much! <3

Love the Kick Starter idea! If you need any advice Melody, I’m sure Mike (my husband) can likely help. He’s had friends in the comic/entertainment industry go through it and he likely has some info on best practices/general pitfalls, etc. if you need any advice when/if you decide to give it a go. 🙂

Give Tony at Tohickon a call (or send him an email). If you’re able to get the eyes out, you could send him one and I’d pretty much guarantee you he can make you a custom pair to match identically. 🙂

After several minutes of debate, I went ahead and got one (My first sitting kirin!). I’m quite nervous; this will be the most pricey grab bag I’ve ever participated in. I hope beyond hope I get a really colorful one. I went ahead and took the risk since there seemed to be many more that I liked versus disliked. I may bawl my eyes out though if I end up with a regular colored koi one (I’m not a fan of the overly natural ones). I’ve got all my fingers and toes crossed! I hope that everyone else who decided to go for one gets one they love as well! 🙂
