My boyfriend surprised me with a late V-day gift when I got home from work today. This was our first Valentine’s day together and I about freaked out! I’ve never had anyone get me anything other than a rose, box of candy or a card before so I never expected something like this!
Wow each one of these is amazingly beautiful! I love all of them!!!
I told my husband about the one per person rule when he said he’d try to buy one for me as a present along with me trying to get one… I told him not to do it since these guys are so limited…. if he wanted to get me a gift, I told him to get a different production piece. But maybe I should tell him to go ahead and try for a grab bag anyway for the next time they come out, if that is an accepted practice? Seems like lots of people have their S.O.’s get them a second uni… Hrm. *confused :
I side with you on this one, I think getting a second through someone else, though technically not against the rules, is bending them a little 😉 I don’t have and hard feelings toward those who do get a second, but kudos for giving others a chance at one!
I think part of why so many people had their significant others buying them an extra uni is because the batch was released just a few days before Valentine’s Day. What better gift for a Windstone crazed partner?? lol 😛
And here is my baby. I love the silver leaf ones, but not with color on the head so she is up for trade in the classifieds. Her eyes are silver and her gem is jonquil. Hannah you can use my pics for the directory.
Oh my goodness, I didn’t see this guy in the class photo! I am in LOVE!! I’ll be getting mine tomorrow and if it’s not love at first sight I’ll send you a PM!

Oh the irony! I read this post this morning and just a few hours later I found my brand new white and tinsel fancy fuzzy in my bedroom doorway. He was wet, blind and a bit raggedy. I have two 7 month old kittens and they are always getting on my dresser. Normally I put my fuzzies in a ziploc to protect them, but this particular fuzzy just arrived yesterday with my new foo momma and they were hanging out on the dresser. 🙁
I prefer the natural colors as well. I would also like more fantasy colors but without the stripes and other complex designs…just solid colors or natural horse patterns done in fantasy colors.

I like the male better, too, but feel like they need more contrast on the head/face. Some shading in the ears and nose perhaps.
I actually like the color scheme, but it’s the painted hooves that throw me off. They clash with the other colors.
I just finished watching it and I have to say there are more in this batch that I love then I thought there would be! That Frankenpony zebra/appy one is starting to grow on me! lol
HEY!! I have another suggestion!!
Remember the raffle to help raise funds for Melody’s son’s robotics(?) club? What about a pay-to-enter lottery type raffle to raise quick funds (instead of or in addition to an auction)? I’d happily buy a $10 lottery ticket for a chance to win a fancy unicorn prize! Just an idea. 🙂I would gladly but a ticket or two for something like this!
