You guys are getting me excited mentioning dragon pebbles! I don’t typically do grab bags or pebble animals but I got a GB mini keeper and you can bet I’ll do my best to get my hands on any type of dragon GB Melody puts out! I just hope my wallet has enough prior warning, haha! I’ll try to be ready.

Just out of curiosity, is that a little grab bag mini keeper in the top right corner of your shelf picture? Would you be up for posting pictures of that one too? It looks cool!
Haha! Each time that little guy is included in a photo I post, I get requests for photos of him. I still have the photos I took when I got him, so I suppose I’ll share those ones once again, lol-

^Haha. I would only consider it if someone offered a trade for something I loved even more/a dragon of equal value (especially another OW). It’s true purple isn’t one of my favorite colors BUT this guy is really very stunning and I love him! He’s also special to me since I won him 🙂 and he is my first (possibly only) test paint piece.

Well folks, the time has come for me to gush about my raffle prize! I won this guy in the January raffle and he arrived last night! I was anxious to get photos but waited until after work this afternoon for daylight rather than take them last night… but of course it ended up being a cloudy day.
I found it seriously impossible to capture his beauty in photos, even though I have a good camera. In the photos he looks a lot closer to the regular peacock color than he is. He’s a lavender rose test paint and I wish I could show how deep and vibrant the purple is. His chest scales are a different color, a little more pinkish. Purple isn’t even one of my favorite colors but he’s quite stunning!
They may not be great photos but I’m still gonna overload you with ’em! Lol!
My shelf that holds most of my Windstones became too full, so I just got this shelf days before his arrival. It has just a few overflow Windstones on it and some other things. Since I should be moving sometime in the upcoming months, I’ll (obviously) be reorganizing then! For now this is his spot.
IMO, these shelf photos are the ones in which his color showed up best!
I’m so proud of him! 😀 I’ve never owned a test paint piece before. Yay!

I thought it was so awesome I got a Christmas card (a while ago now, lol) even though I didn’t request one this year! You must’ve consulted a list from previous years. Thanks Melody! It made me happy. I hadn’t been around the forum much for a while so I forgot about the Christmas cards!

^I’m pretty sure this version of the book has never been “officially” produced. It’s easy to find regular versions of the novel but to get this, you have to find it on one of a couple or a few geeky websites from sellers that hand make it (it’s leather bound and everything!). That’s why it’s so expensive- a couple hundred dollars! Which is why I hadn’t bought it for myself, haha. But I love it. <3

I have one ruby: a lap dragon. I could get a couple better photos of her if desired, but for now out of laziness will show this photo I already have. Pretty sure she’s the later version of ruby (she’s fairly bright, not cranberry looking).

I realize I’m getting to this late, but I received something I’d been wanting for a long time: the version of The Neverending Story book that looks like the one from the movie! (It’s one of my favorite movies and books!)

For me it’s pretty much always jeans, including at work. I preferred to buy guy pants for a number of years because I like the baggy style and the bigger/more useful pockets. But I mostly get women’s jeans nowadays as I realized I probably look kind of goofy in baggy pants. I’m a shorty, and I look like a kid if I don’t wear clothes that show my shape a little. I still don’t do actually tight jeans, though- just not my style. And I do still have a soft spot for black cargo pants, as I like the look and the EXTRA POCKETS! Yay! But I don’t have a pair of those right now (kinda hard to find ones that fit).
At home I’m almost always in sweats, or when it’s hot, shorts (I only like wearing shorts at home). When it’s super cold I’ll sometimes wear a pair of sweat pants beneath my jeans, especially to work since I’m outside off and on throughout the day to take dogs out to potty. (And a sweatshirt or long sleeve shirt beneath my coat, etc.)
I wear boots except for jogging shoes when I jog. I’m a fan of boots, even if it’s hot. 😀 I do have one other pair of shoes that aren’t boots (black skater-ish shoes, they’re Fallen brand and the logo reminds me of the band logo of one of my favorite bands)- but I don’t wear those much since I’m always wearing boots, lol.
I have a pair of flip flops but rarely utilize those. They’re useful for swimming situations.And for shirts, T-shirts or sometimes tank tops. I have a bunch of T-shirts because I tend to find ones I like online and I can’t resist- movie shirts, video game shirts, band shirts, etc. I especially like ones with obscure references that only fans understand instead of outright saying the name of the movie etc. To be honest, I have too many shirts for someone that doesn’t really go many places to wear them, haha. At work I can only wear my work T-shirts.

You had me worried by saying the quests have gone away! Made me wonder, “Did they announce there won’t be any more?” I know people get busy and I do too, so I don’t expect them super often. But I hope there will be more. I’ve participated in a few and enjoyed looking at the ones I didn’t enter. They’re fun plus it gives us chances to win things which always rocks! 🙂
Anyway, a calendar contest is a nice idea too.

OH MY GOODNESS! I can’t believe it! This was the best news to see in my inbox this morning! YAAAAY! And yes I’ve been entering almost monthly (basically whenever it was a dragon, lol) for a few or several years, ever since I joined the forum! (Not sure when that was since the join date isn’t displayed by my name nowadays!)
The timing is amazing, too. It just so happens I made arrangements to pick up a curio cabinet today that will allow me to expand my somewhat small collection a bit! So I’ll have a place for him! YAY, so excited!
I keep meaning to be more active on the forum again- I hope I haven’t missed out on any quests! This excitement should be good inspiration for me to make time! 😀
