The PYO Keeper that Branzyboo did for me arrived today, and I’m REALLY happy! 😀 He’s stunning, and pictures really don’t show his full beauty, but I of course will show pics anyway! Brandy even included a birthday card for me since he got finished and sent so close to my birthday (he got here 3 days after it).
Since I didn’t wait until tomorrow to take pics when there would be sunlight, I took most of the pics in the kitchen since the lights are the best in there. Not a great backdrop I know, but here he is!

You really can’t see how shimmery and beautiful his scales are in the photos, though.
I’ll also take the opportunity to share updated pics of my Windstone collection, since I believe I’ve acquired a few since the last time I shared. Still a small collection, but it’s grown quicker since I discovered the forum.

^Sorry to hear about all that, Falcolf- I’ll join in praying about it! Although I don’t exactly have anxiety (not anxiety attacks anyway), I know what it’s like to be a hypochondriac. After working at a nursing home for a few years it became pretty bad for me and I always look at things so bleakly and get paranoid about any little thing (I’m getting a little better though now that I don’t work there).
But I hope these heart palpitation issues don’t plague you for long. You’re too young to have to deal with that crap!
Edit: Oh yeah, the original reason I came to this thread was to post some crappy news: Tom Clancy, my favorite author (and creator of a video game company, & author of books responsible for movies Hunt for Red October & Patriot Games) died last night. On my birthday. I cried when I found out. I’ve been reading his books, watching his movies, and playing his games for a long time! I feel like I’ve lost an old friend. I wasn’t ready for you to go yet, Tom! And he was only 66. He should’ve had at least 10 more years of life left to write books!
Now, my birthday will be the anniversary of his death. 🙁

Thanks guys! I had a nice birthday- I worked, but that’s okay since I like my job (and I got off in the early pm). Later I went for dinner with my husband at Outback Steakhouse, my favorite, and then had him play video games, air hockey (I have an air hockey table lol), and Sorry with me! May sound lame but I prefer those activities to parties! Got cool gifts, too.
Also got to talk to my family (in another state) on the phone- my parents, my brother & his fam and my sister & her fam all sang happy birthday to me on speakerphone. =*)So excited to hear from you when he arrives!
I’m excited, too! :bigsmile: I’ll definitely be showing him off in the pic thread, as well as sending you a squealing e-mail, I’m sure.

I still have yet to even get a fledgeling dragon (I really ought to- they’re not super expensive!). I don’t think I’ll be getting a fledge AND a baby since they’re so similar, but awww, those itty bitty babies are CUTE! Maybe I’ll get one of ’em instead!

You likely don’t know me, as I’m newer here, but I’m sorry to hear the sad news. Prayers for you & fam.
About 3 years ago, my husband’s father died suddenly of a heart attack, and was also only in his 50s. He wasn’t much of one for going to the doctor, so… it was totally unexpected and a huge blow to the family. It shook me up quite a bit and to be honest, even though it wasn’t my own father and I didn’t exactly have much of a relationship with my father-in-law, it has made me have somewhat of a depressed outlook on life ever since then, and fear and paranoia! Especially since I live so far away from my own parents. I also cannot stand the thought of my husband “going” before I do. I try not to dwell on those things, but sometimes, it’s hard.
Really didn’t mean to make this about me though- blessings, machineguts, to you & your mother. Lean on and take care of each other.

Yep, snowfall around here usually first takes place around early or mid October at the latest, but just a little bit to start with (and then sometimes waits a while to snow again)…
We’ve had a ton of rain though. Colorado likes to rain during the summertime- especially towards the beginning & end- and doesn’t really rain during the winter (only snow)… And the weather switches so freakin’ much! Nice sunshine and then boom, it’s storming!

Aw, I’d love to enter, since I love writing and would love winning an emperor (lol), but I can’t draw and I only have 1 fuzzy so far, so taking pics wouldn’t work! Bummer! At least I ought to enjoy seeing what other people come up with! :bigsmile:
*Maybe* I’ll decide to give drawing a try, but I know that won’t end very well… I wish I could partner with someone so I could write the story and they could illustrate! :p

I live in Colorado Springs. It’s been pretty bad in some areas, and there have been losses for a lot of people- I’ve not personally been affected other than having to drive through nasty storms a couple of times. A coworker of mine, though, had her house flooded and the roof cave in. She had to bring her animals in to stay at work (perks of working at a pet boarding place!). I teared up watching all of the animals on the news attempting to be rescued.

That’s gotta be the coolest stapler in existence. 😀 Not long ago I spotted a dragon skull on e-bay which was actually a box to hold little things. It was awesome. I came pretty close to buying it, but… well I can’t be buying everything I like… :p

Oh fine! And here I am still with a number of VHS tapes on my shelves! Lol! -__- Sometimes I feel old, despite being “only” 26… 27 next month.
