The Griff is based on a purple/blue headed hummingbird/black leopard
The Kirin is based off of Flourite, one of my favorite stones ^^ *is a rockhound/lapidary*I still haven’t sealed my copper dragon..I’m so scared to o_o;;

I didn’t think it would be an issue honestly (cma-sam, my fatherinlaw makes it a big deal when it doesn’t have the tag and original box) so I was just checking incase I should go back and grumble at them. ^^;www.nakaseart.com

I just got a EmPea Fledgling!
Problem though, I was given the wrong box. Crystal Magic in Flagstaff has a couple of other sculpts at the moment, and one of them is the BlackGold Fledgling. Well, I got the BlackGold’s box for my EmPea D: Will it lower the value of the sculpt? I had them take 10% off the price because of a small paint scratch on it’s base, but now a mismatched box? :
Crystal Magic is the same store someone here got that discolored redfire scratcher. They still have a few other sculpts left, BlackGold Lap, mom, young, fledge, and an EmPea hatching.

I vote for a rock dragon! All this talk of outdoor sculpts, I think Melody could play with colors on them.

I honestly wouldn’t want her done in cement.
Way too much money to have Windstones ship her to me. She would be an inside dragon for fear of theft. I wouldn’t want a cement dragon on the floor around me, I have enough trouble hitting my toes on my shell door stop. x_x;;I reallllly want her to be painted up to be the Old Warrior’s match. 😳

As for sealing it depends on if you use a spray on type or a brush on type whether or not you need to cover the eyes and jewels. When I used a spray on sealer I covered them with tape. Lately I’ve been using a brush on sealer so no covering is required. I always put the felt pad on last after everything is all dried and after I sign the pad…kind of hard to sign other wise.
Can you recommend a brush on sealer? I have a Micheals and JoAnn store close by. There is also a speacialy art store downtown. Also, do you put it on thick? or thin? and how many coats? (trying to learn things on this one, before I paint some I plan to sell)
