Ditto here. I’m just glad I’m 7-9 hours ahead of most of the members. That way I’m usually not on whenever anybody else is, and I just catch up in the mornings and join in in the evenings until I get tired.
That works…nowadays I usually don’t have time to get on here except at lunch — I try to read all of the posts while I’m eating. Except when it get crazy like last week…then I barely have enough time to eat…and have to work really long hours…
Its fun when there are 7-8 people on at once, but its easy to lose track of time replying to the posts!
Greater Basilisk wrote:She’s signed up but she hasn’t posted a thing. Why are people so shy?
Actually, I should say, why are some people so shy?Aha…she just emailed me and asked me to let people know why she hasn’t posted anything yet. Here’s what she said:
“I have not received my confirmation email yet. I tried to log in, but it doesn’t recognize me. I am not shy, just silenced!!!!! This is killing me not being able to say anything in my defense or properly thank people for the nice comments.”
So once she gets approved we should hear from her!
He he he…this forum is about as addictive as computer games…
Good point! 😆
When work isn’t crazy like this I’m usually on the forum at least an hour a day…and I remember some Saturday mornings when I was on the whole morning because so many people were chatting…
Thanks! I was wondering when I’d be able to get out of the black hole myself.
I’m working all weekend (sigh) but by 8:45PM I said the heck with it and decided to check the forum since I’ve been wanting to for days. Its been almost 3 hours and I still haven’t gotten through all of the posts! I shudder to think what would happen if I went on vacation for two weeks — I’d probably need 2 days to catch up on the posts… 🙂
I think in her case its probably because she’s really busy — she has two kids and a large number of animals. 🙂 That’s why she held off on joining for so long, because she said that she didn’t think that she’d have time to get on the forum much…

In small print you should see a link for “More Funding Options”. That’s where you can choose to pay by credit card. Once you choose a credit card and hit continue, you will get a page with the “are you sure you want to pay by cc” stuff. Make sure you hit “yes”, because they actually have “no” highlighted. PayPal is devious!
I’ll say…they make it sound like you’re better off paying directly from your bank account…and carefully don’t mention that you lose the protections that you would’ve had if you had paid with a credit card…
Wow Dragon, what a horrible experience. I haven’t been able to get on the forum since Tuesday (work has been crazy) and just saw this topic today. I’m really glad that you got all of your stuff back! Though it really sucks that they damaged your baby rock dragon. Its unbelievable what creeps these people are…stealing from you after you’ve known them for 3 years, had cookouts with them, and trusted them with watching your cat. I guess you get all kinds.
But be really careful when you’re coming or going from the house since its hard to say what people like this are capable of. I hope the landlord evicts them so that you don’t have to worry about them being close by anymore.

I’ve never had any problem either…and we’re both in northern CA — wonder if that has anything to do with it?
Where are you located??
I wonder if it was a distance thing??I’m in Silicon Valley (South Bay)…and Chessie said she never had any problem either. Maybe CA just doesn’t have any problem?
Sorry I took so long to reply, but I haven’t had a chance to get on the forum since Tuesday — work has been a madhouse…looks like its going to be just as bad next week….
Did she finally make it on here? After I’ve been telling her to join the forum for months and months…I wonder if its because I told her we were talking about her… 😛

WindstoneCollector wrote:OK…That is one more copy sold!!! I am going to Walmart tonight on my way home from work to get it. It sounds hilarious! I would really like to see Ice Age 2 the Meltdown too… 😀
I liked that one! I think I like Ice Age partly because of Scrat the cave squirrel… 🙂

Hmm…I didn’t see any video related to squirrels, but they did talk about them and they referred to a site that has a neat article: http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/2006-bw-squirrels/
And then it will lead you to this website:
http://www.thom.org/gallery/set/squirrels.htmlThanks, I missed that! Wow, those are nice pictures…hmmm…that might be a good town to retire in… 🙂
