Been a while! I finally got something new made!
The wrapping around it is from a really old leather belt. I wanted to make something like this for a while; old rustic stuff has a special charm to me.
And another recently-finished piece, an Easter-themed fox!
The one request was that it bee green. While I was painting the body, it reminded me of the fake grass you put in Easter baskets, so I decided to add jelly beans since they’re a pretty classic basket staple. It’s balancing a jelly-bean shaped piece of glitter on its paw.
I really like how the piece came out, so I’m going to paint the paper mache unicorn a candy theme with lots of jelly beans. I just love candy themes.
I ended up having to repaint the weasel, so here is Easter Weasel Version 2.0!
Looks much better imo.
Another commission piece I finished for my friend.
This one is for Easter and themed after a fancy enameled egg. Its size made it difficult to paint on a lot of detail so I added rhinestones and glitter. The egg-shaped piece of glitter is to help indicate that it’s Easter-themed since I was worried the colors might be too wintery.
That’s a really pretty rooster.
Also, how cross-eyed did you get painting all those marks on the chicken?
The hen PYO has a light orange eye option that may work for your needs. There’s an eye color chart in the description to compare what (most) of the in-stock eyes look like. If you’re not sure which color perfectly meets your needs you can leave a note when you place an order asking for an extra set of a different color, then mail back the pair you don’t need. It is up to Windstone whether they send you the pair, but I’ve done it a few times with no problem.
Alternatively, you can check this thread for glass eye sellers: https://windstoneeditions.com/forums/topic/pyos-gem-eye-info-sizes-sources-etc/I like Tohickon but they do have an order minimum.
Hens use 4mm eyes.
For the last part, you may be able to get a replacement pair if you send Windstone a message via their contact page. Again, it’s up to Windstone to grant the request, but they’ve done it before. Or you can look through the different eye suppliers in the above link to see if they have any nice replacement eyes. The kirins take 8mm eyes.

Thank you both!:) I’ve been working on a small little something to accompany this dragon over the holiday weekend. Hopefully I can take a picture today or tomorrow depending on if touch-ups are needed.
A little commission piece I finished for a friend:
It has four different shades of pearly paint on it (3 pink and 1 white) but the camera doesn’t pick it up well at all.
This dragon is so tiny that a piece of heart glitter is big enough for it to hold.A person on ebay left me neutral feedback because I wouldn’t sell them a mint in box item for lower than the listed price (which was only $7 more than an open box item also for sale on ebay). I’ve requested that ebay the feedback be removed and blocked the buyer.
Did I mention how much I hate ebay?
Oh wow, I love that brightness of the lava at the front, I especially like that the color was added to the nostrils too!
Thank you! My goal was to make it seem like its inner body/core was so hot that the heat was bleeding through any weak points it could find.
