That scratcher looks fantastic!  Did you have any of the missing pieces, or did you totally rebuild his face?

Thanks.  I think a piece would have to be pretty badly damaged for me to want to totally repaint it rather than touch-up repair.  If that happened, I would probably do something pretty wild, and want to keep it myself anyway.  Other than the PYOs, I was mostly thinking about picking up some poor babies with minor damage (I don’t feel up to major damage), fixing them up, and using them as display pieces, with the possibility of finding them new homes.  I mostly do flat work (colored pencil and watercolor) and when I decide to start trying to do shows, I thought it might enhance my display to have some sculptural pieces for depth.  I think I would just write “repaired” on the felt.

I’ve been wondering that too.  I haven’t seen the July raffle winner posted yet either.  Hopefully it’s just because she’s busy with the comic stuff.  I’m really looking forward to the wolves.  I don’t have any pebble animals yet.

I think the mystic umber and summer leaf are both lovely.  I would especially like to see them on the orientals.  Actually, the mystic umber would probably be gorgeous on tha unis and pegasi as well.
