I think that’s so awesome that you guys might be going to a convention, anyway to get more eyes on the Windstone brand is a good thing! Be sure to make your booth stand out too, the one time I went to a con years ago I was frequently drawn in by the posters/banners of the shop from afar!

I’ve often wondered if it would help boost attention for Windstone to do a booth at any of the conventions that happen around the country, where I’m at we have a few like Dragoncon and Anime Weekend Atlanta(those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head atm), but I’m sure there are some around where Windstone is located! Though I suppose it’d require having an extra couple people to spare for an event like that, but always a thought to get the word out there!

I’m hoping that these Kickstarters are also bringing in new blood, I know I’ve discovered tons of new artists to follow since I started browsing KS!

I think that’s a great idea, I always try to mention my Windstones in my other communities that I’m in, you never know when that one post is going to create a new Windstone fan!

Ha! That’d be cute! I’m afraid though I’d feel like I would be copying Melody’s adorable Sushi cat print she made years back, but the idea of a Sushi cat serving other ON a Sushi cat is fun! Sushi Cat ‘inception’!

I’ve actually thought about doing a dragon! I even got as far as sketching it out on a cat, but I struggled with the layout design and how small I could do a dragon, the tiny details for the scales would be next level. But maybe someday I’ll try again, I’ve seen some awesome designs on vinyl cat figures that inspire me to try doing a tattoo style look sushi cat!

Also, this is a piece by CLAMP out of their Tsubasa artbook that I used to help me draw the Lotus flowers and pads, this is my favorite artwork in this book!!
