Thank you guys!! I’ve got just the tail to fix up and he’ll be done! It’s taken me since late November to finish this guy, and the funny thing is I thought I could paint him in time to sell before Christmas lol.

Here’s another WIP pic. I’m getting so close to finishing everything, but sometimes it feels like it’s 1 step forward 2 steps back lol. I’ll be working on one area and realize I need to go back and fix something in a finished spot, which can be so frustrating when you’re close to being done!

Not currently open for PYO commissions.Here’s a quick pic of my Snerl, he’s so close to being done, all the hardest parts (i.e wings) are basically finished. This Snerl has been harder to paint than I anticipated, I think that’s because I tried too hard to make him match my Kitty Griff that I did in the same palette, but the two sculpts just ‘flow’ differently. I think in the future I may try some different techniques/styles to make the process go smoother. I think I tend to make think I tend overthink things lol.
He’ll be available for auction soon, I’ll make a post for him on the WS FB page!

Melody – I can see that, there are so unique looking breeds and you can’t cover them all. BUT, I still think you could sculpt an awesome Cerberus, though I don’t know if that’d be hard to cast…maybe a puppy cerberus would be easier?

Kujacker – Sorry I didn’t reply to you sooner, my bad! But yes, by the time I posted her here she was already up for auction. I’ve often thought about what filming my painting progress would be like, and I think it’d be chaos lol. I often just start slapping paint on one area and furiously blending until something starts to look semi nice and then just spend hours and hours trying to make the the rest of the piece match. I’m not the most efficient painter, I try to be but many times I’ll start with one color palette, come to hate it and then paint over that with a whole new idea xD
I’m currently painting a Snerl in Northern lights colors like the Kitty Griff I did awhile back, it’ll hopefully be done soon and I’ll post some pics!

I seem to remember that there was another Barong sculpt that was FooPup sized?? I think it’d be great to see more small palm sized PYO’s, they make great lil gifts.

1. I wanna squeak my need for that Jackalope sculpt I saw Melody working on in the past, I’d LOVE that as either PYO or production piece. I needs those cute bunbuns!
2. A new PYO that has a smooth surface like the sushi cats, the smooth surfaces are so great for painting small detailed fine lineart! Maybe it could be a like a pebble creature?

Me too! I already know my first Pegi will be a dapple grey, I’m really excited for that one! And I’ve got several ideas on what my first Snerl will be painted as, probably something colorful!
