Hera is beautiful! She is definitely a sight to behold! I wonder if you will end up making a Zeus?? Maybe fashion a paint scheme after an electric eel… for that one…
Ooh.. I like the one with the two different coloured eyes.. cause I have one green and one brown eye lol. I love the pebble animals! My collection seems to be moving more towards hooves and paws lol.. horses, wolves and foxes. How very North West of me!

Brimstone was a pleasure to paint! She was also a journey to paint! Let me tell you to anyone out there.. painting darker pieces has challenges but I really enjoyed her coming to life. I added some red around her eyes to give them a glowy look. Her colouring became a happy mistake.. Her body is black done with a base coat and many washes. Her rear legs and “rump” are washed many times over in red.. each wash being wiped away slowly building up color. What you can’t see is that the rest of the dark part of her that appears black is washed with red.. and comes out a coppery color. I am glad you like her Natasha.. I am glad that my first piece painted is going to a home where she will be cherished. I look forward to painting more and I look forward to another swap!

You are more than welcome Natasha! I am glad you like your new Unicorn. I will wait until you get your pictures up before I post any.. I think it would be amazing for you to introduce your new friend to the forum.. not sure if you are keeping the name?
Oh my gosh that is my favorite book and movie of all time. Actually the Song by Limahl is also my favorite song. I was lucky to see the movie as a child in the theatres. I love Falkor. I wish we had a luck dragon windstone! Artax and the swamp part in the book was much more sad than in the movie as he talked in the book and basically gave up in the swamp from all the despair and grief he felt.. tears even typing about it. Auryn is gorgeous.. I would be on cloud forever happiness to have a version of the book like yours.
I would myself like to see the foxes in some fantasy colours.. something bright for spring! If not I second Landipans suggestion of the morphs. I looked at the link to.. there are some beautiful colorings out there!

Anne.. the foxes are interested in you! They say “give us a chance”.. or in Abba terms “take a chance on me”! You have no idea what your missing out until you have one.. at first when I set out collecting I was all about the dragons.. then I got a pebble fox.. hooked on the pebbles now. I have a fox, a wolf and a couple of Horses. I love them all.. and cant hardly wait until we have more available.
Finally here is Bonsai! Bonsai was painted by Bipolarbear! Thank you so much.. he is my very first Kirin and is a treasured addition to my small collection.. but growing collection of Windstones. Thank you again!
Just gonna say how much I dislike photobucket.. it takes a long time to do anything on that site… and each time it refreshes even longer so it can load a bunch of advertisements. Sigh..
