No, no, no … Melody recently did TWO batches of standing kirins (with scales). She hasn’t done unicorns for AGES! Obviously it is time for another batch of GB unicorns. 🙂
They may have scales, but Kirin are just Japanese unicorns (or giraffes, depending on how you want to look at it), so really, we just had two unicorn batches. Ergo, time for dragons!
So…..not to be nosy 😉 but just wondering what might be up next as far as grab bags? I know the Cougars were just released and the hippocampus sculpt looks amazing! But any ideas for what’s next?
It seems like it’s time for dragons again…that lil keeper sculpt was especially for grab bags, and there has only been one batch. I don’t know about you all, but I want an army of grab bag dragons, yeah, an army. All these “normal” pebble animals probably has Melody itching to do scales again, right? Scales for the win!
And there goes my willpower! I got one, sigh, there are like only 3 in the whole class photo I don’t like at all. And sooo many I just adore, the ones with the lighter, not black stripes and everything with rosettes, and most of the fantasy ones, and all the marbled ones, I would scream and dance with joy at any of these. I am powerless in the face of this addiction, sigh.
ughh! I really like the natural looking ones with mottled rosettes and the airbrushed stripes, which is weird for me, cause I’m usually all over paint puke. Ughhhhh someone buy them all please so I won’t feel so conflicted! I am saving money for a convention…. must…resist!
Okay, now I have to ask. What convention are you going to? I’ll be making it to Anime Weekend in Atlanta which is the only reason I’d be this personal nosy and ask.

LindaS, your gold colored fancy one with the leaf is my favorite so far. I usually got for brighter colors, but these naturalish colors with plants on them are just striking, they look like they could be little nature spirits. I would totally leave offerings at the tanuki god forest shrine! So cute and darling.
Grr why are they still in the store? I am resisting because it’s too expensive and I’d rather a natural one I think. That face doesn’t need dressing up, too cute. But my plans start to unravel when they are still available 24 hours later! Someone with deep pockets, please go buy all the tanukis now, kay thanks.
I have to say I’m very excited about the cougar GB. Even more so than when the Fishy Fat Cats came out. Is that going to be the next planned grab bag?
The next grab bag will be tanukis. I was unsure which it was going to be, but tanukis won.

Heads up Susie or whoever does the Ebay listings, the Tanuki has an misspelling in his heading. Title of auction says: “WINDSTONE EDITIONS “RAINBOW SPARKLE #1″ TANUKI FIGURINE, JAPENESE RACCOON DOG”.
I doubt it will stop a Windstone fan from finding it since we are all voraciously following the windstone ebay shop, but who knows, Melody’s lovely pebble sculpts may hook a whole new audience!WHINE my hands are on fire still! Found a dog on the 4th, brought him around to the neighbors to see if anyone recognized him. No one knew him, and he smelled funny, like cloves, and his fur was really oily. Turns out someone had pepper sprayed him! Some of the neighbors who had been petting him got it in their eyes and had some swelling problems, ack. Dog is sweet but ill-trained, 90pounds of pitty muscle and NO manners. Knocked me over this morning when I was trying to get him fed.
Gave him a bath this morning since it still seemed to be all over him, dog seems to feel better but I got it all over my hands. Tried lots of water, baking soda, shampoo, almond milk and baking soda, and vegetable oil and more water. So yeah, whine whine whine from me and my burning hands, though probably not as much whine as that poor pup was doing!
Don’t quote me on this, but I think I recall it being said that the reason they don’t make many Sparkle Paint sculpts is due to the small supply of the paint?
However, I will also voice my interest here, he’s lovely and I think he’d be even more striking with silver eyes to match that horn!
then with less sparkle? It would still look amazing.
this would be an amazing color for production parents; it just looks great with a silver horn! Just saying…
that cougar sculpt is lovely, so I am down for whatever they get painted as.
But with all these little baby kirins running about now, any chance of doing some production color parents? The shenanigans these little guys can get into… they need some parental supervision and my PYO kirin is just not cutting it, she is more like a teenager.
We are still having problems with the gold adult kirin horns.
We do have a supply of silver colored kirin horns, though, so maybe we can do some color of adults that goes with silver.Sounds awesome to me! Lots of things go with silver. I’ve been wanting adult kirins for awhile now, I think I’ll adore any color except all white or all pink!
