Happy Thanksgiving!
She’s not on here very often, but SPark also does fursuits…
Thank you! 😀
It was in fact a lovely day, I had a surprise birthday lunch with friends (my family celebrated last Saturday)!
The normal eyes for the spectrals are marbles. The eyes with pupils have a flat back. We had to fill in the sockets on the spectral to make the “normal” eyes fit 🙂
It’s like a completely different dragon! He looks much “softer” with the regular eyes.
My husband is from Michigan, and is jonesing for mulberry jam, morel mushrooms and some candy called Chocolate Charlies. Well, I can’t do much about the morels (those are some PRICEY ‘shrooms!), but I’m hoping to find some jam. None of those things are available here in Florida. So does anyone know of a black mulberry jam vendor (must be jam not jelly he says) that sells online? I have some on order from an Etsy vendor for Christmas, but I’d be interested in trying a few from different places to find his favourite. Thanks!
P.S. fruit not available around here also, so I’m not looking for recipes, just already made stuff. You’d have to contact the vendors to make sure they’re jams, but a few look promising… 😉
What company is this? I totally want one of those dragons! SO cute!
You’d have to get the pair since they’re sold as a set, but shipping is included. They also double box and they’re excellent packers.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like you can get them separately elsewhere!

Are those by Artesania Rinconada? They make stuff like this. Gorgeous pieces!!
Thanks for that name, I wasn’t aware of these! More pretties for me to loot at… 🙂
If I read the De Rosa history, Artesania Rinconada is the parent company!
Congrats! That first car is always very special!
And so sweet of your dad to be spotting cars for you and then to help you buy it!
Hmcarr10, I don’t know where in FL you are or if she’s still around, but we did have a member- Kalandra- who did repairs and was located somewhere around the Treasure Coast.
Oh ok thanks! I’m in the St. Augustine area so that could be a possibility. I get down there sometimes.
Kalandra is still around, we corresponded a few weeks ago. And she’s very talented. 🙂
No way, so am I! (Well, I’m in Chestermere but still!) You don’t know of any local Windstone retailers that I’m overlooking do you? The only two I know about are now closed (the one in Medicine Hat and Donna Rose in Edmonton)
One resource to keep in mind is Kijiji, Windstones actually pop up relatively frequently on there, although it’s most often the older color schemes and sculpts:
The thing that bugs me though is people who snipe as a game almost just to see if they can win something. I am not saying people do that here but there have been pieces I really wanted in the past and clearly let others know and bid my max and then got sniped at the end only to see that person turn around and re-sell or trade that item later. So it’s almost like they didn’t really want it but just sniped it for fun and that is not fun for people who were watching the item for 7 days who really wanted it! If I see others really want an item more than I do, I don’t bid on it period. I only bid on things I love.
It may sometimes seem that way, but I doubt that it truly is. Unless someone has major free cash to throw around, that would be an expensive game to play with no guarantee of recovering your money on a resale.
There are a lot of possibilities why buyers may resell or trade an item:
– Buyer’s remorse
– Sudden unplanned expense or loss of income
– Loved it on eBay, but not so much in person
– Got caught up in bidding fever – close cousin to buyer’s remorse 😉
– Specifically bought as a trade piece if a Forum member has something else that the buyer wants
– Anything else I can’t think of right now…🙂
