But you will probably be waiting a while for a reply. I have waited 3 weeks for a reply on what other stuff he has. I guess I would be understanding if he would keep me updated, but I haven’t heard anything since I sent him another email a week ago.
Oh well, I guess that answers my question on the White List thread…
Thats too bad…
That’s really nice of you, but I’m actually waiting to hear back from another collector who has one to sell off ebay 😉
Thanks again anyway!
Thanks so much, but this seller doesn’t ship to Canada 😥 So I guess I’ll just have to let his one go…

😀I allow Canadian bidders (There are way too many Canadian collectors to ignore) But I have to disagree about the insurance. My PO says I cannot insure to Canada.
Also, I have a question…I had one Canadian buyer ask me to mark “Gift” and put a low value on the form. Are the fees really high on merchandise coming in? I would like to keep it cheap for them, but what if I mark that the item is really cheap, then it breaks? Is there any way to recoup your money? (Since its not insured?)
About the insurance, I have insured packages both ways before (from the US and to the US) and never had a problem. It might be that you’re overseas or it could just be related to the shipping option chosen, for example, from the US, I believe that letter-airmail (not sure of the name, but Karen used it for my gold fledgling) is not insurable, and from Canada, Small Packets (name of the service, not description) is not insurable.
As far as insuring below the value, yes it would save us money, but I wouldn’t chance it! If anything happened, no we couldn’t recoup our money on it. I’ve actually had a seller offer to do it and he promised that the way he packed it there was no way it could be damaged, but I would never take the chance.
But if a buyer asks it of you, sure, do it… Just be certain they understand that if anything happens, it will be their loss and not your responsibility.

We have a party at his aunts and uncles with supper and presents, then usually open the our presents all on the 24th. Then on Christmas day we will be going to a movie, it is our little tradition, we go to the new big sci-fi fantasy flick, this year it is Eragon. Then the 26, in Canada it is also a holiday, called Boxing Day and there are all kinds of sales on, so I may go shopping, who knows. It is also BF’s birthday so we will do some stuff with him that he wants to do as well. I have a week off ths year, but normally only take 4 days maybe.
HAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! You go shopping on boxing day! You are either very brave or completely nuts! (no offense) You couldn’t PAY me enough to go near a store between Christmas and the New Year!.
Average price for a Mother Ki-Rin in mint condition in the las 2 months : $131.00, and for slightly damage, there was only one and it sold for $70.00.
Baby Ki-Rin averaged at $51.50 wether mint or damaged.
FRENCH TOAST WITH REAL MAPLE SYRUP! YUM!
As for recipe, I’m afraid I never measure anything… Does anyone have a recipe?
I think the one thing that’s bothering my eyes is that the pink sides aren’t antiqued as opposed to the rest of him, so they sort of look like one block instead of indidual scales (am I making sense?). I love the rest, you’ve really grown as a painter!
Arlla wrote:Do you have to pick specific countries? I havn’t sold too many BINs, but for regular auctions, I think I just click on the option that allows shipping world wide… that works for Canada, I assume…right?
What ruffian said…
This is a request for all of you who sell on ebay: Please, when you have a Windstone to sell, please list Canada as a place you will ship… I promise it’s really not that much trouble, and it would be really good for you too as you would be widening your potential bidders base!
Now, I don’t know about regular bidding, but if you list a BIN and don’t list other countries for shipping, we (the foreigners) will literally not be allowed to bid, ebay just blocks it.
I have shipped across the border and purchased stuff from across the border, and it really isn’t that much trouble.
I remember someone listing as a concern, not being able to track or insure the shipment. This really isn’t a problem at all, not only can you insure it, but the US and Canadian tracking numbers can be used on both Postal Services websites (USPS and Canada Post). I’ve done it several times before!
Anyways, I’m off the soap box now, thanks for listening 😀
Now a Windstone Collector’s Book would be really great!
*deliberately disregarding the “Probably never will happen” comment*
Just thought you might like to know… I keep track of the price of Windstones on ebay and haven’t seen a Rainbow Emperor in the last 2 months (time I’ve started keeping track), but for comparison, there have been four Peacock Emperors listed as “not mint” and they sold for:
189,40 $
181,47 $
153,50 $
118,48 $And 2 mint ones sold for:
153,55 $
200,00 $So like Drag0n said, you might be better off keeping him.

I’m not religious at all…but I do get together with family for Christmas and give gifts and things like that. I think the part I like best about Christmas is the baking! 🙂 I usually have a couple of weeks off (my company has a week of holidays, and I usually take another week of vacation) so its one of the few times during the year that I have a lot of time to bake! I also love Christmas decorations too and I have tons of them…the only problem is that I usually end up not having time to put them up before Christmas and then I end up not decorating at all, because it seems like wasted effort to just do it a couple of days before Christmas. And then if I do decorate sometimes it takes me forever to take everything down. A few years ago I put up my big artificial Christmas tree with a lot of decorations and that was in the living room till April… 😆
My Holidays are pretty much like Mimi’s, not religious at all, but lots of food, decorations, gifts and family gatherings! And I always take 2 weeks vacations during the holidays… It used to be because the company I worked for closed for 2 weeks every year, but even after I changed jobs, I kept up the tradition… Haven’t worked during the holidays in almost 10 years!
You know what? I think it was Unicornita? I haven’t seen her name up here in a while… Maybe I’ll just PM her.
mimitrek wrote:Wow, he’s ultdragonian’s been one of the biggest buyers of expensive pieces on Ebay — if I remember correctly, he got both of the peacock emerald secret keepers at >2K each! Did he mention why he’s getting rid of his collection? Just curious…
Not really, and I didn’t want to pry, but he did say that he already sold one of the 2 emerald-peacock SKs… Right after he bought it actually, to a woman who apparently desperately wanted it for her children…
Oh! And he did also get the violet-flame SK and he’s keeping both SKs.
