Lots of other things changed, down to the little scale spots on the back of the neck. Pink is the old version. Tanzanite is the new one, from the store photos.
Does this mean shell pink and white need a new batch to be made in the new version?

Wicks ‘n’ Sticks! I can still picture the interior of the store in my mall from thirty years ago. Mine did not carry Windstones, though. The Noah’s store did. I don’t remember which piece was my first, but it was probably the hatching pegasus. I seem to remember seeing it often in my mother’s mail-order catalogs and admiring the awesomeness of the wing.

Yes, I understand staffing. I work doing limited production with a small staff. Personally, I’d prefer to see LPs as frequently as grab bag offerings. That may mean fewer grab bags, or hiring a couple of people. It’s all up to Melody setting the priorities in the end.
We can use the website as a “schedule” of color releases, on an older sculpt that did not have to play catch-up to older colors. Looks like once a year-ish.

It’d be nice if eBay pieces would get made in limited production quantities more often, or at all. Mountain Frost and the Twilight series look simple enough to reproduce, as opposed to ones like Orion or Paradise.

You may be encountering the problem of a small company with limited time and staffing. Introducing a new color (and keeping their customers happy) means a commitment to produce all the dragons, or whatever, in that color. That’s a lot of casting and painting!

My thoughts, EXACTLY, Lisa! I’d love to see those guys as grabbags. They’re a great size: small but not teeny (though I DO love teeny, I’m not sure the work input vs. the low cost is fair to/worth it for Melody).
She said the teeny beanies blow away during painting, and was working on a non-blowable bean. I look forward to grabbing them!

My squeak wish would be for Baby Pegs, in choice of Fantasy or Safari or Natural
I agree these would awesome if possible to do. But if too difficult I would love grab bag or limited production baby pegs in a variety of solid or mixed fantasy colours, pastels, metallics or colour shifts.
I would like simpler grab bags, or LPs, like this as well. It’s a better chance of matching what I already have/adding to families.
