I’m getting antsy waiting for my grab bag young. He is supposed to be here on Tuesday. This will be my first and likely only grab bag young uni. This is exciting not knowing what I’m going to get….
Ooo, Black Footed ferrets are lovely too! A ferret Oriental would be my dream… I can totally see how the lithe body of an Oriental dragon is like the body of a ferret. I wonder if Orientals sleep curled up in balls like ferrets do….
OMG, I got a grab bag young unicorn. On a whim I happened to check on the store and was shocked to see them in stock, yaye!
Oh no, there is a ferret colored crouching griffin chick on ebay… I have always been a fan of ferrets having owned 4 of them over the years. I have been wondering, is Melody going to paint something in a ferret pattern, because I am going to Really want it. And now this cutie shows up… where is the money when I need it haha. I wonder if there will be more ferret painted critters.
Wow those flood pics are crazy. I live in a northern suburb of Chicago myself. It’s been raining a lot with some flooding by rivers and such, but nothing like what you’re experiencing in the southern part of the state.
Please be safe everyone. I live in IL, where it’s only been rainy and gray all day, but I am concerned for the people down south. This has been a lousy weather month for sure.
I love that last pic, the way the face looks and the blue, gold and brown that you used. The eyes and wings are totally awesome too, good job!

I got the same exact warning messages as ghostndragon when I made my order for the pink curlie this evening. It also did not affect me making a purchase, but it did seem rather odd.
I’m very excited about my new volunteer position at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. I am still in the midst of training. I hope to get qualified soon to work with the starfish exhibit. Eventually I hope to work my up to working with other animals. I am in guest engagement which means I am sort of the middle man between the exhibit and the guest. I get to talk with the guests and answer questions and also ask them questions to engage them in the experience. I hope to also be able to work with penguins and otters. If anyone happens to be at the Shedd on a Saturday… you might see me there 🙂
