Err, I’m guessing Scenceable is referring to the Rocky Mountain horse as that is similar to the flaxen liver chestnut but with more white. I don’t know where the silver dapple name came from, maybe it was mislabled at some point?
I am getting my private message emails. If it helps, I am using an account connected with the college I work for.

Grab bag gothic unicorns are my wish 🙂
That is really cool what happens with the Empea dragons. I can maybe somewhat explain what happens. Sunlight is blue, and so is the flash of a camera. When the bright blue light of the sun or flash hits the violet of the dragon it must totally wash out the red part of the violet leaving only blue. That is why the dragon looks normal with no flash indoors and it loses it’s violet with sunlight or a flash. I guess the best way to take a pic of these guys is indoors using a photographic incandescent bulb that doesn’t add additional blue light. This seems to explain what happens, at least in my world … –> works with color all the time.
These 2 links will take you to Melody’s gallery and a couple pix of the moon dragon.

Thank you 🙂 #848197I do the same as Sasha. I upload my photos to photobucket. I click the html code for the photo I want and then I paste it into my message on the forum. I always preview first to make sure it worked fine, but it seems to work very smoothly.
Happy Birthday to you!
June 13, 2011 at 3:11 pm in reply to: Grab Bag Young Directory (formerly “Musical Unicorns”) #848102This is such an awesome idea. I’d love to see every young organized alphabetically first and then by pattern too if possible. That would be fun. My Artemisia would love to be a part of this 😀
Kujacker, I am very sorry for the sudden loss of Riku as well as your dog. I have lost 3 ferrets in my lifetime, and they will all have a special place in my heart. 2 of my ferrets had similar issues to your Riku. They got very sick very fast and the cost of x-rays, surgeries, etc became astronomical. Ferrets are so precious and seeing them suffering is unbearable. I really hope you are able to cope with your losses and I know you will always remember the good times you had with Riku. He left you too soon, but he left something in your heart that will last forever.
I have Artemisia that I got directly from Windstone. She is my only grab bag young and I love her and I plan on keeping her right here in Chicago 🙂
Oh, I know this heat in Chicagoland is absolutely horrible and dangerous. It will cool down back to the 70’s in a few days. So, this crazy humid heat won’t last much longer. I’m hoping you and your mom will be okay, stay cool!
Poor Riku! I love ferrets soo much, and I hate to see them with health problems. I really hope you are able to get the funds you need and your little fuzzy will be okay!
Congratulations!!
