Can’t get my camera to down load ‘rastlefratsers!’ Will keep working on it and try to identify my poadie from the class photos. She is black based with green eyes and the most adorable bright red cheeks! I think she is a lichen sort that transitions from red to greeny gold with little blue spots and her back stripe fades from gold to silver. She also has gold toe nails :bigsmile:

Here’s the Foo Mom with my recent grabbag Poad that inspired the colors
There is still a ways to go on her–she’s starting to look Egyptian to me at this point. I have medium blue eyes for her but I’m thinking dark red would be better. What do you think? I’ll work on her again this coming weekend. I’m pleased at how she’s coming along–I don’t exactly consider myself a painter.
Finally got things organized so that I have all my pyos in one place and just put a base coat on my Foo Mom. This sculpt is going to be a real challenge for me so I’ll keep it simple. I’m just drooling over the fantastic paint jobs I’ve see so far–the colors! I’d be afraid of using all those colors and making mine look horrific! My inspiration will come from my simple Angel Poad I got from the last grabbag edition. Not too many colors on her and I think I would do that to the Foo Mom [no, I’m not going to paint wings on her].
I might post pictures as I go along and see what everyone thinks–is it looking okay or start over old lady! :bigsmile:

Mine just arrived! Have to do something this evening so I’ll post pictures tomorrow. Mine is one of the more neutral ones–in fact she has wings! She’s featured on the Poad card on the bottom to the right. She is beige and cream with blue and black accents–she has a blue bottom and she has dimples above her bum. I’ve looked at the Blog pictures and I think she is the only one with wings! So I feel I may have a one-of-a-kind!
Question: Are these fuzzies visiting randomly or do you make reservations for one to visit you? Would be a surprise to find one at my doorstep! 😉
I’m so sorry things didn’t work out for your trip! I hope you feel better and that things will work out with your boyfriend. Having panic attacks are not fun–yes, it is heartbreaking that you may have lost this relationship over this. It’s good that you’re painting–it helps with the stress.
Mine should arrive on the 8th and I’m loving what I see so far! Everyone’s Poad is so cute–yours too, Drag0n! Can’t wait to see mine!
What a very pleasant surprise! I wasn’t on my computer yesterday when the notices went out–when I saw it, I was sure I missed everything. But to my delightful surprise there were still some in the store! This must have been a big batch—there are still more than 10 in the store right now. So glad I was able to get one—thanks again to everyone at Windstone. You all are the greatest! :bigsmile:
HECK YEAH!!! That is great TDM–so happy that you went and had a good time. I feel Eth will come around and you accepting his invite was a huge and scary step. Good on you!
So sorry about your loss but you have a positive attitude. I feel we’ll be with those we lost someday–in the meantime, they’re always in our heart.

I am so sorry you had to go through this. How frightening! You need not apologize–that’s what we’re here for. Life tosses us some real hard balls at times but I feel most of us here have very caring hearts. I’m thinking of you and your family. I wish the best for your little girl. Remember, we’re here when you need us.
