I actually have a light box! Complete with lights. But since I’ve moved twice in the past several years, and most of my stuff has remained in boxes since the first move, I have no idea where it is (or if it got thrown out). I can say it did work incredibly well!

@landipan I actually wanted to use the blue gem on his head because I had planned for the head to be black, dark gray eyes because his face was going to be blue, and a dark/black/or gray gem in his tail because his tail was going to be blue. I don’t know if it had the effect that I thought it might in my head, but I still like it.

Here are a couple more, now that the sun isn’t as strong (though it’s still 106 out). Turns out the shade completely kills the teal color lol ah I can’t catch a break. Oh well 🙂 (the curl of his tail is actually teal as well)

Posting for a request. First time I’ve seen this guy in years… this is the first edition Opoponax, first batch as well.
I took three photos, one outside in the sun, one outside in the shade and one inside. Surprisingly hard to photograph.

Wow – A Opoponax Curlie with red eyes? That must look cool! If any show up for sale on eBay or the Classifieds I might just have to take a look…

I dug thru some old photos and found one with him in it. Red eyes and a red jewel. I might be bias but… he looks way better with the red.

Not a fan of silver+gold, but I’m waiting to pass judgement until I see the color on a larger sculpt. But in general, I’m always a fan of black based color schemes.

SnK has gotten real messy, let me tell you lol and considering all the characters were meant to die first season (except for Armin, it seemed), the story almost feels like he’s just writing it off the seat of his pants. Thankfully I get attached to characters, not necessarily the series they come from.

I’d say my second favorite Eevee is Glacia. It’s never a conscience decision, it just always happens that way! If I don’t go with Vaporeon, he always ends up as a Glacia.

I’ve had every eeveelution as a shiny too (except Nymphia). I use to be quite lucky when it came to shiny hunting. I just don’t care too much in the new games, though I do have quite a number of shinies in the new game. But honestly, Blacky, Glacia and Nymphia are really the only good looking shinies from Eevee… :/

Otherwise ferrets and bulls/cows are the things I collect.

I always get laughed at and side eyed, but my favorite original Pokemon is Hitmonchan. Otherwise I love Ootachi/Furret (of course hah) and muh boy Sirknight/Gardevoir. Metagross, Noctus, Gigaiath, Goloog, and Kirikizan… And of course, Youngoose! I’ve had a shiny version of every one too, except Noctus and Kirikizan.
Uh but I can’t remember a lot of the English names… so I apologize. I started early importing the games upon their Japanese releases.
(My favorite Eievui/Eevee is Showers/Vaporeon 😀 He was also my very first level 100 on Red)

Yeah, don’t use oils on a pyo. The gypsum needs to breathe. Basically everything else is a go, though.

The photos in my gallery were all painted exclusively with pastels (the exception being the mask on the kitsune).

I’ve used an airbrush in the past on pyos. I find them messy, and too time consuming to properly clean. While it made the paint smooth with a nice transition, I didn’t feel it was worth it in the long run. I ended up throwing away two airbrushes.

I just want to add that photos do NOT do the kitty any justice at all. He is simply stunning in person. There really isn’t any way to describe how he looks in person!

It took me about five years to finish my rooster phoenix! He ended up getting pushed to the backburner for other pyos, then I completely lost interest in him until many years later I picked him back up and finished him. And, as someone that always sells their pyos, I can say I like him too much to ever sell him 🙂 So definitely get a pyo if you want!

I’m so excited about the sushi cat! He looks perfect 😀 I’m amazed by the amount of patience it must have taken.

I never ask for anything, but I really must say that I’m hoping Smouldering Ember becomes a production or limited production. That color looks fantastic on every sculpt.
