I have a snub nose .38 and my husband has a .357 with a 6″ barrel (very Dirty Harry), we live in south Louisiana….lots of hunting, etc and we have a bunch of shotguns, rifles….I mostly have the .38 to prevent car jacking and anyone trying to take advantage…
We live south of New Orleans….and with the hurricanes, it is never a bad idea to be able to protect your home…
Wow! That’s awesome… I love shooting! and I love horses! Maybe we need to do an exchange program…you drive my Viper and I get to Ride your horse!
I have a 2006 Viper Coupe and drag race, but recently I have started to do the Lemans style road racing. I actually spun off the track and ended up in the mud. My husband refused to talk to me for a whole day!!!!hehehe.
I am going to buy my blue Corvette back from the guy who bought it and do more racing in it. I am just waiting to get it back.
I love racing…and being a woman…it always confuses the poor men out there…hehehe
Happy Mother’s day to all of you Momma’s….I am just a critter Momma so I usually don’t get anything…
I will keep all of you with young babes and husbands going off to war in my thoughts. I hope that your families are safe and happy! I could not imagine being in that position!
Hugs and Best Wishes!!!! Kaya

I always wanted to look into adopting wildlife when Mr. Kitty is gone. (right now he kills everything, or brings it home beyond repair 😥 ). I would like a skunk and a squirrel. Do you need special licensing or anythign to have them?
Thank you for posting. Cuteness overload. 😀
Depends on where you live, but most states do require special permits. Skunks, Fox, Raccoons and Bats can be Rabies Vectors…meaning they can carry Rabies and not show symptoms and spread it. If you want a vector animal many states outlaw it. You also need to get vaccinated for rabies if you wish to keep one of the above mentioned. Also your Vet may drop your regular animals and refuse you care, due to increased risk.
Squirrels are not rabies vectors and you can usually get a permit. Make sure you understand dietary needs before adopting an exotic pet. Many people think that squirrels can live on nuts and actually that can make them quite ill.
Email me if you have questions about exotic animals…eschete344@bellsouth.net
I have raised sugar gliders, hedgehogs, mink, squirrels, bats, flying squirrels, nutria and the list goes on and on….I would be happy to point you in the right direction.
Word of warning: I spend at least an hour after I get home from work, everyday, cleaning cages, fixing diets, etc….exotics are hard work…
I love every single minute, but I rarely go on vacation and I am a slave to my critters….
Greater Basilisk wrote:I see one gargoyle egg up there… Do you have the one with claws on the way, in that case?
Yeah, Mimitrek had two eggs with claws and grciously offered to sell me her extra….he should be here Monday or Tuesday. My OW and Giffins should be right behind. Will take pics when they come in! I am soooo Excited!!!
So what are your hobbies besides collecting WIndstone? Does anyone Skydive, Base Jump, Show Dogs, Ride Horses? What do you do on your weekends? Post some pics!
I like to race cars……
Greater Basilisk wrote:Nice pics, keschete. Do I see correctly that the male griffin is about the size of a male dragon?
Yes, he is almost same size as the male Dragon…and as soon as Momma Pearl and Crouching Chick get here next week, I will take pics and post them here. I also have my Ruby OW and my Gargoyle eggs left to take pics of.
Not sure if I will do on the floor or the table, but the table gives off the reflection that is kinda neat…
Does anyone know if they have some left? I REALLY, REALLY need to stop….but they are too cute to not get one!!! I emailed Windstone, but of course today is Saturday….so I have to wait till Monday to get any info……Can you pick the eye color?
Thanks Kaya

MINE!!!
heheheheh…..continues to laugh maniacally…..
KoishiiKitty wrote:Is that a table with glass over the wood? or just an amazingly pollished wood floor?
Its a glass table with claw feet (how appropriate?) and a ceramic tile floor that looks like wood. The tile is unbeatable and looks like polished wood. I am gonna take some pics directly on the floor when my momma griffin and old warrior get here next week.
Melody,
I am new to the forum, but I have been collecting Windstone for 20 years and the Black Grifin has been with me for a long time. He is one of my favorite pieces. He really, really needs a mamma and babies…it’s been a long, lonely time for him.
I did get a Pearl Momma and Chick. But he really would like to have a few girlfriends after all this time alone! My Flion (who I have had for as long as the Giffin) really would like a girlfriend too!!!
I know you are swamped…but they beg you to have pitty on them and let them have some girlfriends!
Sincerely, Kaya, Black Griffin and Flion!
Greater Basilisk wrote:There was a limited edition run of prototype OWs in black gold. I’m really hope the regular OWs are done in black gold some day too…
I bid like $1000 on one of those….maybe it was the Black and Emerald one…of course I was outbid……They were beautiful!!!!!
I am assuming that this is for the people who do the PYO statues? What are the rules? Is it only for people who do PYO’s?
Just curious…the pictures are pretty cool…and I don’t know the first thing about PYO. Thanks in advance for answering my ignorant questions…..
I like the look of them with the wood colors behind them….
Jvargas0667 wrote:If you could add me to the list, i would really appreciate it! I finally got an OW in Peacock, and now I want them all! Any chance they’ll do the OW in Black-Gold???
The Lap Dragon in Black and Gold is gorgeous (just got him)….I would buy another OW in Black and Gold. Obviously that color doesn’t seem as popular as Peacock…weird. Melody if you are reading…please make a Black and Gold OW!!!!!
I guess I have so many peacock pieces that I am getting tired of that color. Everyone seems to like the peacock scratcher sooo much…I have him, but I like the Black and Gold so much better. he’s retired so I wouldn’t trade him…but if Black and Gold was out when I bought him…I would have gotten that instead.
