This beautiful girl told me that she’s a little spirit of the Northwest, so I’ve named her Spirit. I swear she must have put some kind of enchantment on me, because I love her more than my #1 Young Poad from this batch.
I daresay I might not have even been be willing to trade her for another Young Poad, unless it were one of the two jaguars in the middle of the Group Photo. She’s gorgeous, but sadly, she just doesn’t fit into my collection, as I only have one other black and white piece. I’m pretty sure she’s already traded.

She’s black and white with a tiny bit of grey in the middle of her rump, and a tiny bit of tan under her chin.
She has a black beak, silver claws, and grey-blue eyes [not metallic] that are almost black.

I haven’t tried KRYLON’s matte clear coat yet, but I have used the matte black base coat and the glossy clear coat. I use latex gloves throughout the entire painting process to prevent fingerprints on the paint, but only if
I absolutely had to touch the piece. I have my space set up so that I can move around it, and adjust the height,
if need be. My experience with spray paints, is that you have to actually walk around the piece, spraying lightly and in layers, with 20 minutes between sprays. Sometimes more, if the piece has a lot of detail. I also found angling the can to get into deeper crevasses in the piece helped a LOT. Also, I don’t touch my work for at least two days after the project is finished. Just to make sure that everything is set and dried.
In the link below, you can view the piece I repainted. I had to hold it to add the details, for which, I used DecoColor liquid metallic markers.

Wow! So many pretties. I think my favorites so far are Anichol, StormDancer & PrairieVixens.

What an amazing “Windstone Christmas” I had yesterday. Both my orders (original & after they dropped the limit) arrived on Xmas eve. I got a beautiful Okapi & a zebra-tiger-leopard mix. Both are gorgeous but there are a couple of my favorites that I might be tempted to trade.

And, then while opening gifts last night, I received two gorgeous tadpoads from my sister-in-law. Woohoo! A beatufiul dun & honey badger. A true Windstone Wonderland Xmas all around!

OMG!! The Y.Poad on the left is my #1 pick! It’s absolutely gorgeous, great Grab! 😀

As someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology I am LOVING the butterfly inspired dragons like Monarch and Blue Morpho! Can we have a Spanish Moon Moth dragon or maybe a Sunset Moth dragon?????

Sunset moth dragons would be awesome!

Wow, those moths are gorgeous! I love earthy greens and browns, so a Spanish moon moth dragon would be a big hit with me.

I actually remember of a Sunset Moth Emperor on eBay a long while ago..
but I think that was a Repaint, and from the same artist on a PYO Keeper.
