It should be considered a repaint but its not advertised that way. Otherwise, it looks normal enough other than having some chips that look like they were repainted on his crest.

meowmix – that thought has definitely come to me too when I think about investing in an airbrush! I would be so annoyed if I got it and it just didn't work with me (or vice versa XD)
Stormdancer – I never even thought about the issue with the noise! Yikes.. I'll definitely have to wait a bit even if I had the money to get one at this point. My working space is very small and in my living area so having a compressor making noise when other people are trying to enjoy the television or something would not fly XD That's definitely good to know – it may just have to be something I try when I have my own art room *dream*!

I am still catching up on some of the older grab bags and I think if I started a new one without putting some of the older ones in some forum members would stop talking to me XDThey come once a month now, so it’s much harder to maintain! A few years ago grab bags were a much rarer occurrence! I will see what I can do and make a post if the time is right though 🙂

This guy is already traded! Hopefully I have more images of (some) of the other things I am working on soon 🙂
His scheme is “Seafoam”, named by my boyfriend. he has metallic turquoise and light blue scales lined with burnished silver. The horse is painted to be a grey dapple. He has a matte finish but his tail has been separately glossed.

Been looking back at all the Poad grab bag threads and really feeling bummed that I didn’t find Windstone earlier. Have to get me some Poads. 🙂 I’m not super in love with the Hoppies though but maybe… Now I thought I read somewhere there was some safari available recently? Well I went back and pressed the notify me buttons on all the Poad grab bags. I thought I had done that already. *sigh*.

I just went through and attempted to submit a few of my pieces (I tried really hard to narrow it down, but I think I sent in maybe 10), and I noticed that when I was attempting to submit it would give me an error on some, saying I would be exceeding my limit of 5 per folder, or 5 per day. So I’m not sure if they went through or not – it was unclear.Also, there are a few folders at the bottom that I cannot submit to – it looks like the newest PYOs, like the Winged Cat, Kitty Griffin, and Hippocampus.

Is this still being bypassed for now? I realize that since it says it, it probably is, but I didn’t want to flood the gallery with the images of pieces I’ve done in the past if it’s annoying either! I have.. kind of a lot of PYOs done.

A few years ago I placed a custom order through Tohickon Glass Eyes for, among other things, Zombie eyes! They came out beautifully – they are made of glass with a white back and a recessed pupil that is black inside but painted white, so it’s almost a light grey color. They are the exact same profile as Windstone eyes so other than being Zombielike, they are pretty indistinguishable!
I didn’t pay much more (if any more) than the price of their normal eyes for this custom order. I got lots of Zombie eyes at the time and I still have some left, but not enough to sell or give away! I would recommend asking them if they can do a custom order of the eyes if you guys are interested.
you can see some more in my (ridiculous) eye collection here too – yes I know I have a ton of eyes. I like having lots of options when I am doing PYOs! XD Still, you can see that they can do them in pretty much any size.
