Nice one, Lady. And I’m glad to know we don’t have any people stupid enough on this forum to get offended over something actually inoffensive. I second what all you guys said – though I haven’t seen Song of the South yet. Shall keep my eyes open, though I doubt I can get it over here.
Correction: Christmas is bad for some people’s wallets. For other people it doesn’t matter because their wallets are always full of plastic money. Right, Ski? 😀
The Lap? My problem is elsewhere – when I saw the two emerald Spectrals up this morning I about cried. My credit card hasn’t come yet and my friend has family over this week! I can’t bug her with this. But I so, so, so want them. I’d even be willing to skip the BEP if I couldn’t end up affording him and the emeralds. AHHH! Why do the emeralds have to come now? If they’d come next week I’d probably have my CC and be able to buy them!
I wouldn’t pay Grandio’s prices, especially since Armik’s stayed normal. I agree that every seller can decide whatever price he wants to sell for, but I do think it’s rather stupid of Grandio to try to make the newly retired look as if they’re on sale by adding a much higher gray price on the left of the increased actual price. The Lap never sold for $190!
I second everything everybody else said – except Ryliecat; I haven’t had any accidents. Glad you survived the crash, Rylie.
But there’s another aspect for me. I love dragons by definition, and Melody’s are so realistic. But I wouldn’t buy them if they were made anywhere besides the U.S. I am so sick of being bombarded by Chinese/far eastern trash, by the companies constantly outsourcing jobs, quality getting worse and worse. Every time I buy a Windstone I know that I’m supporting the U.S. economy, and that I have a real piece of artwork, lovingly hand-painted, totally unique, and beautiful on top of it. So my Windstones are a statement – another quality item that not Made in (bleeping) China. I can’t remember the last time I bought something made in China. I just don’t. No, I’m going to be selling an emerald coiled mother, and a brown mother, and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe a brown male.
(Funny thing I noticed – the brown mother dragon I have has DARK blue eyes, like the rainbows do! They’re definitely darker than the eyes on the male.)

Which ones are you selling, SPark? Any rainbows? I need to find a way to squeeze in some rainbows despite the fact that two EMERALD SPECTRALS just went up on E-Bay that I will win if I can help it.
I have the dragon bookends and two candle lamps and I hope to get the Circle of Dragons sometime. I really like the stone sculptures of the mythical animals. I’m not sure why, but in the wintertime candles are the only heat in my room. I use them to thaw the ink in my pens while I work – no kidding! Besides, the stone ones look classical – give my room sort of a “castle” air. I’m not sure what to call it. I don’t like cats, though, so I’ll never get any of those.
My dragons way outnumber my stone because there’s more of them that I “have” to have.
