Yum, Miraeko! What a neat way to fix eggs; I’m going to try that.

I absolutely love the colors Melody used on that PYO. She’s right – gray phoenixes are few and far between. I really really really want to paint one myself.

Only one left! He’s really cute, with his mouth open like a fountain figure. Fortunately, the red and purple combination bug me enough that I can cope with not being able to buy him. Congrats to everyone who got one, though.

This person on DA has a fake white male dragon in his gallery.

I’m really sorry this happened to you, Medley. I am glad they caught at least one of those jerks; I hope they grab the rest too.

I like the color of the lap, but as a whole, I think it’s a green overload.

I’m quite fond of the coloring on that griffin chick.

Tell me about it. I was getting things for my future house for years and years, until I ran out of room for all of it and realized I better get the house now so I have a place for all the stuff! Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy. 😆

Pretty fun, being stuck on vacation! 😀

in reply to: Here's the poor guy I picked up today. Help! #811519

Yow, he’s in bad shape. Looks like the relationship didn’t survive as well as he did, though.

    Possessive “its” have no apostrophes.

“My boy isn’t dead,” Luellen said in a whisper, with her hands gripping the back of one of the kitchen chairs tight. The conviction in her voice was so fierce that it snapped Zephyr’s attention into focused on her. The air wavered behind her left shoulder and Julienne appeared, staring at her with an odd expression on her face. “I know my boy isn’t dead. I don’t care what they say… I can feel it. Everyone else may have forgotten about him, the whole world might have gone crazy, but I know I have a son, and my baby boy isn’t dead. Someone took him from me, and I want him back!” Julienne shivered and hugged her stomach. Even James had turned to watch as Luellen’s voice had risen and gotten shrill. Zephyr could almost feel the presence in the house shift like a sleeping hulk that had been agitated by a poke with a sharp stick, and he tried to swallow through the tightness in his throat.

It helps to read your sentences out loud after leaving them to sit for a day. That way you notice the flow and find little things to fix.

Well, if you define “close” by American standards, yes. 😆 Davos, St. Moritz and all the slopes of Gaubünden are just an hour away. The Schwägalp and Säntis area aren’t laid out for snowsports much; more for hiking and some cross-country skiing. But that’s fine with me as I abandoned my snowboard years ago.
That’s cool that you’ll be moving too! Do you already have a particular place in mind, or some criteria for what you want?
