Our daytime high today is 4 Celsius (39F) and its rainingStrange. Edmonton hasn’t had snow yet, so I’m surprised to hear that Calgary has. I haven’t been looking lately, can you tell? I knew up north (Grande Prairie and such) has had snow but not Calgary. LOL Was this weekend at least nice for you? It was gorgeous here. Too bad I cleaned all of Saturday. 🙄
We had snow twice, just a light dusting at night that burned off by 11ish, but still, snow :nea: That makes only two months (July and August) where we haven’t had snow this year and most of those it rained. On the upside the last few weeks have been gorgeous! 🙂
I looked after my sister’s kids for her and they had colds… and now I’m sick 😥
😮 😮 😮
Wow. The only time I can say Iv’e seen paint do anything like that is when it’s on plastic. I’m glad you’ve gotten him patched up.Where?!?!? (is a costumer too)
Gah she’s lovely! Looks like brocaded fabric. For some reason I was picturing a Poad with an actual sewing machine painted on her XD
Good luck Crimson since I know I would never be able to afford her 😥I think I could wait for castings to be available….
Would LOVE a little black bat winged kitty….I mostly lurk, but I’m around! 🙂
Though I do know that Ontario has a Harmonized sales tax and that it does get charged on the post (If I send something to Ontario, I get charged HST, even though I’m in Alberta that has not sales tax 😡 ). Also It is usually on items valued over $100.00 that get charged for customs fees for me and then it’s approximately 10% of the value for customs fees. I would recommend that the person you sent it to talk to her post office about what the fees are for, as it sounds a bit much for me. 😕
Dragonmedly, Mmloda, Jasmine etc might be able to shed some light on this since they are all in Ontario
For drag0n…

pipsxlch wrote:Yeah, I just got a quote to Canada on a male kirin for $27… sounds padded, but maybe not enough for eBay to pursue.
Actually that’s about right to send something the size of a KiRin to Canada. Most packages I have received from the States have shipping between $20-$35, depending on the sculpt (shipping for my SK was painfull). Average is about $32. Coming from Canada is about the same. Most people don’t realize that Canadapost doesn’t have flat rate shipping (have actually been told I charge too much, and not nicely, by several people and now put a link to the canadapost website in my auctions) everything is by size, weight and destination
