I love lampwork glass. Thanks for sharing!
Looks Jadeish to me. Congrats and let us know when he arrives!
Not so ugly and reversed, but looks like a mama dragon, even kinda the same coloring.
We have a neighbor across the street that hates our dog. He has 2 boxers, who he thinks are perfectly trained to voice commands but doesn’t. He hates our dog cause he’s a ‘misbred mutt’ and his dogs an our bark at each other. His dogs have gotten out of the yard too many times to count and once even attacked my dog. He thinks his dogs are so well trained but they charge people on the street and only listen about 50% of the time. He also takes his dogs into the alley to poop and doesn’t clean up so all those neighbors hate him. When we called Animal Services after the attack he got really pissed off at us swearing threatening etc. We’re not the only ones who think he’s a jerk and we feel bad for those poor dogs, it’s not thier fault hes a jerk and trained them that way.
What a Day! Sending warm fuzzies for you and get better hugs for Justin!

Wow! Those are really big fangs! Hmmm…Kirins would look nice with a charcoal grey face and tan neck like that.
Sooo, does that mean we’ve convinced you to do some new KiRins? π
Gorgeous pics Purpledoggy! I like the Rainbow Male and Ruby OW best!

Honestly, I’m not sure. I don’t have much experience with this kind of repair. π³ (I’m anticipating a storm of dismay at this point. A historical Windstone, in the hands of a greenhorn?) I plan to get some Apoxie Sculpt and experiment with it–off the dragon–to see if it can hold its form well enough to bridge that gap between wings and back. And there’s a whole pile of Breyer bodies that I’ve been planning to customize. They have now become my practice pieces. π Some very peculiar plastic ponies may come out of this!
I guess I’m also trying to say that I won’t go dashing in on this project until I’m comfortable with the materials and techniques. So hopefully My Lady won’t suffer (I don’t mind being inexperienced, but I mind like crazy the thought of botching her restoration). And if I start getting in over my head, you folks will be the first to know! (After the cockatiels, who live in the crafts room and are learning some interesting words.) π Right now I’m in the process of cleaning her up, which is taking a lot of slightly damp Q-tips and toothpicks. I’ll take more photos when she’s all clean.
And I’m sure there will be many willing minds on this forum to help you out! π
Yeah, the forum definately seems to help with the aqusition of new pieces. Enablers!! π π π
Happy Birthday Vantid!
