I voted for olive green also. It seems to me that if you have a green dragon, and then a deceased green dragon, and then a buried-for-a-while-but-now-walking-around deceased green dragon, the original green color would have morphed into olive green. 😀
Very cute. I love the little dew claw (or whatever you call it) up on the side of his foot. That sign of a species transitioning from four toes to three makes him look like a real creature.

You will find the information in the “Introductory and Welcome area” and in the “Help” thread.

Not me… I want one big enough to ride! He’d also have a custom built “house” right next to the entry drive to keep all the door-to-door salesmen away. 😆
I don’t know about a big dragon – just think of the food bills. Or do you have so many door-to-door salesmen that no one would ever notice if a few became dragon dinner? :yum:
This may be a silly question but … has the January raffle been set and can one enter yet? I have not seen a formal announcement of the raffle, so I was wondering.
I recently revisited the Simpson and Vail website. They have tea and coffee, but I currently am looking at their botanicals – lavender, rose petals, linden and lots of other things. I’m thinking potpourri, but some might wind up in a tea cup too.
Yes, they are there and, as was said above, the counters show that they are being viewed. The phoenix seems to have drawn the most attention by a small margin.
Interesting – when I was reading this topic from the Board index, the quote buttons and others were there. When I went to the topic via the “This Thread” link in Snapdragon’s message, the buttons were gone. When I backed up to before I clicked on Snapdragon’s link, the buttons reappeared. Glad I don’t have to fix the problem!
I think we are overdue for a Mother Unicorn. 🙂 Whatever the prize, a surprise raffle sounds like fun.
I have gotten several pieces from the website and used Paypal, but I believe there are options for paying with a check or money order. No doubt somebody has had experience with this method. I have found it very easy to get things through the website – maybe too easy. 😳

I love to draw and use colored penicils , but even painting on paper puts me off . I think it was a child hood thing . My mom laughed at a painting I did and showed it off to family making fun of it . That might be where it comes from . Ugh .
I love your avatar – is it something you drew?
Maybe a “We Want” raffle some month? All entrants write down what kind of piece they want [perhaps from a list of available options] and what colors they want, and then Melody draws one entry and paints the piece. Could be interesting (if tough on Melody). 🙂
I think he turned out VERY nicely, even if he was a pain to paint. 🙂

 Don’t you need males to produce those females? 😉
Poads must reproduce by parthenogenesis. Who knew – except Melody, I suppose?
The question still remains – will there be more “Violet Flame” in the future (even if the Poad wasn’t an “official” piece)? I’m part of the “We Need More Violet Flame” brigade, so I hope there WILL be more someday. 🙂
