I just got notified that the PO is going to pay my insurance claim on the peacock oriental! Yes! But the check is being sent separately – I hope they send it to me and not the seller. The PO has messed up so many things for me that until the check actually arrives I won’t believe it.

Really, really good cookies. They are awesome with the dark chocolate kisses and I tried them with the candy cane kisses – I like mint and I thought the chocolate/mint combo was pretty good.

If you double the recipe you get a lot of cookies (well duh!) didn’t finish them until after midnight last night!

I find Party City usually has cookie tins. The other thing that works well are the plastic disposable glad containers – they usually do Christmas colored ones this time of the year. I read a helpful hint somewhere that pringle containers are the right size for cookies as well but you would probably have to plan for that months ahead of time and stockpile them.

Congratulations on getting your dragon back! That’s great! Now he will have a story to tell the other dragons.

I’m sorry about the child but there was a case not too long ago where the young child got into the bf’s drug stash and died from an overdose in NYC. This may turn out to be the best thing for him – it’s certainly not safe to have a youngster around drugs. Maybe his mom will get help.

I am so sorry about your dragon, not to mention the other things. That is really, really low. I would be frothing like a madwoman. I hope you get the dragon back but don’t do anything that could get you into trouble. Maybe one of them will drop the dragon on his foot (without breaking the dragon, of course) and break a few toes. One can only hope…
