Ooo if it’s a Flap Cat I might actually put my name in the hat for the first time! Hoping it’s an eyes closed version though!

Hey everyone! Glad to see all the goodies arriving. 🙂

Could anyone that has not gotten their gift or has not been able to send theirs off contact me via PM? Just want to double check my list.

        Thanks!

          Bump!

All these are still for sale; willing to entertain offers! 🙂

And yes, I’m sure pics will be shared of the wedding gown after the wedding day. 😉

Well, I couldn’t leave DragonCat without full use of all the goodies intended for her so another one of these mosaic oil burners

is on it’s way to her house & this time straight from the maker so hopefully it will be packed safely and arrive in one piece. 😉 It really was the ‘main’ gift so the other goodies really aren’t enough on their own methinks.

Awww darn it. 🙁 I should have wrapped the oil lamp better. I thought it would be fine on its own but thinking about it now the cocoa bottle probably broke it. 🙁 I’m sorry; my head has been a little distracted these days. 🙁 Glad you like everything else though.

Thank you everyone. Jerry (FIL) is holding steady right now which is pretty much what we can hope for right now; either that or a slight improvement is what we really want until things stabilize more.

Here is a news article and video on the crash: http://cbs11tv.com/local/boyd.plane.crash.2.1723846.html

Hoping my swapper gets & likes their gifts this week! I forgot to put the card in though so if anyone gets a package from ‘Traci Baker’ that’s me. 😉

Another FYI; my Father in Law was in a serious plane crash on Sunday and currently has only a 20% chance of survival; we just found out as they couldn’t get contact numbers off of his phone. I won’t be able to reply or check up on people’s packages as quickly as usual for the near future. My swapee’s has already been mailed.

Sorry for the shortness & buzzkill but thats where I am at.

A reminder; all gifts should be mailed today at the latest. I saw a few posts talking about delays; please try to plan ahead for these (if possible) if participating in future swaps.

If anyone needs me to contact their swapee to find out if they got their gifts yet please PM me and I can be your go between. 🙂

Very cool. It almost has a queen of hearts/alice in wonderland feel. If you don’t mind me asking what renn fair are you at? I see you live in TX too LOL

A few people said that about the Queen of hearts too that day.

I’m actually not at a Ren faire. I do medieval reenactment with the SCA: http://sca.org/. It’s quite a bit different than ren faires as we aren’t putting on a show for other people but we do it for ourselves rather.

I wish there was a notification system like an email list or something that gets a email when the store is updated.

I will second Vollers; I have several of their corsets & they are my favorite. Yes, they are expensive but I still have the corset I bought in 1995 and have worn more times than I can count. It still looks great.

Another corset maker that is very good quality for the price is Timeless Trends: http://www.timeless-trends.com/ I have several of their underbusts and they are great.

Seconding the steel boning; plastic is really useless in corsets & really should only be used in bustiers. Once the plastic warms it bends even easier than it did in the first place.

All your stuff is gorgeous. I would LOVE to have the cloak, but alas, I am broke and trying to save up to bring one of my nieces to visit me for a couple weeks this summer. Flights to/from Alaska are godawfully expensive. Grr!! Can’t have any pretties.

Ah, I know how it is to be saving up for vacations! Hubby just won a recent competition so now we have an additional trip to PA we have to make. We are driving; it’s about a 24 hour drive. Urg. Lots of gas!!

Forgot to mention DM; I’ve made that top green gown twice and would be able to remake it in any size. 😉
