After the last time my husband had back issues I started making these at home. The last two have been with us for over a year now and they see at least weekly use.
Flexible homemade alcohol water ice pack
2 cups water
1 cup rubbing alcohol
Food coloring for the blue tint (optional)
2 zip-top bags – quart or gallon-size or vacuum sealer bagsMix the water and alcohol together in one of your zip-top bags and add food coloring, if desired, until you get that perfect blue tint. Release as much air as possible and seal the bag. I recommend double bagging for strength.
Thank you for checking, we have had a lot of problems lately with packages going missing!
Either of them.
I hope the one I sent out managed to find it’s way home. Tracking doesn’t show anything on it.

PM me for info! #913491Griselda Garcia-Gomez arrived today in all of her sparkly, flamboyant glory with two little travelers tucked up inside. Her passport is a sight to behold, she has been a heck of a busy girl, and I hope to add to her trip.
She settled right in with the rest of the Fuzzy brood to get comfortable and stretch out after her her long trip. Since it’s raining outside, she and the little ones decided a nap was well in order.
I forgot the most important part. Thank you Leigha! She’s fabulous.
My adorable Fuzzy Swap arrived awhile ago, and I am sorry for not getting pictures up sooner. It has been a bit of a mad house around here. She is so dainty and delicate compared to the other Fuzzies that I have decided to name her Paon du Jour (Peacock Butterfly) after the small butterfly on her back.
Thank you so much! I love her silver spotted eyes.
Paon was a little shy posing when she first came out of the envelope.
But the moment she saw the Windstones tucked away on the corner of my desk, she quickly picked out her new home and let me take another photo.
Blending, blending, blending. Then onto sealing. I think I still have about two days worth of work.
Traveling Fuzzies are meant to go visit whoever you would like to send them too once they arrive at their first stop. By all means send them onto anyone you please to expand their adventures!
Wow I didn’t realize just how close to home that was, just a quick forty minute drive. Time to go click.
I would think that would be a great start to a traveling Fuzzy’s adventures!
I always clear coat once the paint is dry before I move onto antiquing. And then clear coat again once the gel dries. I wiped off paint one too many times the other way.
Thank you!
Bestill by beating heart! Oh ROCOCO #1 SECRET KEEPER, how I wish you could come roost here. WOW he is stunning.
