Wow, I’d never thought of that! I’m glad it got brought up again. There’s some useful links in those links, Jennifer, thanks!!
Oh, I hope I hope. Wait…isn’t that a bit of schadenfreude?
 But I reeeeeaaaallly want a Gothic…
I tried….and I can’t!! I tried searching on Amazon to see if I could find it–I would recognize the illustration style. Very soft, fairly realistic, like watercolor or pencil illustrations. But bright colors. And it was square. Unfortunately NONE of these things make good search queries 😈
I did find a few when I searched “A Gaggle of Geese”. There were some that came up that seemed to be the same subject matter, but not the one I was thinking. They looked very cute though! I thought it might have been this one, but it was published in 2007 and we were definitely reading that book pre-’90s.
Ooh! And a group of cats was called a chowder!!
One more day! Let us know how it goes. At this point they should definitely do the shipping for free or throw in something else for your trouble. I hope the manager is infinitely more helpful than the help, heh. Good luck.
I like that one too, Twingragonsmum!! The story behind it wins it for me. How appropriate!
I always liked cheetahs–they come in troops! When I was little, my mom used to read my sister and I a book all about the different groups of animals and their funny names. The cheetahs had little WWII helmets 😆
Now THAT’S a find–wow! How did you pull that one off?
Haha I like that game! When my cousins play the trump card is ALWAYS Captain Kirk…no matter what 😈
My babies are here! My babies are here!! So I took baby pictures 😳 Aren’t they sweet as rose sugar?
I got them from the same seller for $50 plus shipping. Mint! The baby pegasus even came with his original box! When I saw the BIN prices on ebay I couldn’t believe my eyes 😮 I can’t afford any more big pieces for a while, or any for that matter, so I’m just thrilled I was lucky enough to see them when I did, and have one last Windstone HURRAH before closing the piggy bank until things get a little better. And the seller did a lovely job on the packing. Aah! I just can’t get over them! *jump jump jump*
I concur!
Sorry they’re giving you the runaround, BD!! I had an eye on that one myself, but spent all my money on a Sun Dragon so I had to let him be. I hope you get him!
I wonder if he is the Dark Peacock version or the Light? What’s “Rainbow version” mean?
Yowie kazowie! That’s terrible! I hope you’re feeling better soon. 🙁
I was in sick as a dog all weekend, nauseous, and weak from coughing so hard…the only time I managed to drag myself out was to ask my neighbor to close the lid on his barbecue. The smoke was blowing right into my room and my window is so old I can’t close it!! Obviously after a few hours of that my house smelled like a dirty grill and I felt like Chris jerky!! When he set off the smoke alarm in my house enough was enough.
Bad enough that I was too ill to even think of food, then have Eau de Hamburger misted through my house all day like the perfume at Victoria’s Secret!
Edit: Pegasi, my deepest condolences to you. What a terrible loss to endure–I’m so sorry.
Yah that made me laugh!!! She obviously knows enough about copyright to tell people not to infringe on HER market–but has no qualms about infringing on someone else!
Taking photos of someone else’s copyrighted work and using it for your profit is a very clear violation of copyright.
If any of you ever flap out to sunny San Diego, there is a beautiful antique carousel from 1910 in Balboa Park, near the San Diego Zoo. Everything on it is original except for two pairs of animals. They have a brass ring as well!
I’d love to see a whole pride of Flions with little Flion chicks. I love lion cubs!!
