Those Monochrome Python guys are incredible! Please tell me more than just these 5 were test painted??? The ones on eBay are already going for outrageous amounts…

I just got a message with the clone link- check your inboxes and claim you clone! They are ALL so pretty with amazing subtle differences. It’s so hard to choose.

Out of curiosity, what number did you request a clone of? I requested a #116 clone (black and orange) and haven’t gotten a message with the link yet.

Never mind, the #116 clones were not up yet when I had posted here last night. I had forgotten how many orange-black-purple dragon patterns there were!

Itching to see that new dragon clone page after Melody posted that update on KS on Friday… 🙂

I can’t believe there are any tiger dragons left unclaimed. Those guys are just so awesome… they remind me a bit of pythons. I don’t have any striped dragons yet, I’m so excited for mine to arrive!

Since the Kickstarter is waaaaaaaaaaaay over goal, what does that mean for production?

It means Melody is going to be painting Bantams for the rest of the year 😝.

lol, that too. But if the point of getting the funds was to launch a new line I thought that meant 1. we buy special thing 2. after that the funds go to making bantam a “regular” mold. So if the goal for that was $5k then….all the extra will (one day, when Melody and Co. are recovered) be used to….launch more shinies?

Interesting question. Melody did say in one of the KS comments: “Did better than expected, but I didn’t expect much with everyone all stressed out! That is why I set a really low goal amount.”

So the actual cost of the whole process was might be significantly higher than 5k. The funds from this KS might be going to “pay back” time/money/resources Windstone already fronted in the Bantam making process, in addition to funding remaining details that need to be addressed before Bantams hit full production mode.

She’s at $92,400 with 26hrs.to go AND if we can buy more after time is up,she will make it.Come on,come on,come on,you can do it!!😃

Haven’t heard of a way to buy these colorful guys outside of KS, just plans to be able to pick one out from the color/pattern number you pledged for and requested. So if anyone wants one (or another one), probably best to get your pledge in and your message to Melody about what number color scheme you want before KS ends.

    Ms.Melody is going to break $100G!! YAY!!!🎉🎊🌠

    no way!!

As of this morning (and assuming that my math is right) people would have to buy another 34 Special bantams for the Kickstarter to reach $100,000 before it ends. Since Melody would have to paint those dragons, plus all the dragons that already have been requested, she’s probably hoping that it doesn’t go that high.

Had to lol at this. The thought of Melody chanting under her breath, “Please don’t hit 100k, please don’t hit 100k…”

Kind of hope they are that pale, I love them! In any case, they are absolutely fantastic!!!

How am I going to narrow it down? >.<

Alright, well, nothing like the firm opinions of a 5 and 3 year old to make decisions. These are the guys I’m requesting similar ones of via KS (already have 144).

    Top6

We as a family are very lucky to not need the upcoming stimulus checks to cover bills, so 4 of these guys have a permanent home here and my girls are getting 1 each. I told them I’ll keep them safe till they move out of the house! >.<

Someone had mentioned their 2 year old loving the tiger stripes guy; my 5 year old is right there with you. My 3 year old consistently picked 142 as her favorite, both before the initial release and now.

For anyone still deciding, have fun looking through all the pics again! ; -)

And one more super heartfelt round of thanks to Melody and crew for going above and beyond to take care of us and work so hard to make this possible!

Well, in light of everyone getting a similar KS dragon to any pattern they request, here are my top 10 guys (in no particular order). How am I going to narrow it down? >.<

    Top10

    – Love the way the first three look together. Maybe production Emerald would be close enough I could sub that in for 148?
    – 40 keeps catching my eye, but maybe production Sliver would be close enough?
    – Really like 64, but maybe I should take this opportunity to get something more varied?
    – 116 and 93 are pretty similar, can’t decide which I like more.
    – Love the idea of having a tiger dragon. His colors aren’t quite my cup of tea, but what if he’s my only chance?

I have to admit I had a really fun time looking through all the pictures (again!) knowing we can request similar ones of any of them for our KS guys.

That is incredible, wow, thank you so much Melody! I can’t even begin to imagine how often you’re going to need to clean all those airbrushes…

Completely unprecedented, this will make so many people, so, so happy. For goodness sake, just take your time over there and don’t run yourself into the ground.

So, ah, anyone happen to hear anything about whether we will have advance notice before the next set of pictures is posted, or the process for requesting new dragons and the order in which requests will be addressed?

in reply to: So, What # Kickstarter Dragon Did You Request? #1608216

I was thinking the same thing about 70 and 71; they’re really close to several that I loved.

in reply to: The Bantam dragon Kickstarter #1608198

Cool, yeah, she’s really nice. As someone else mentioned earlier, I’m noticing a lot of neat details on many of the ones that weren’t on my short list the first time around.
