I agree, the new format is very simple and user-friendly, both from a selling/trading perspective and a buying one. Being able to upload pictures directly to the Windstone site for ads is so much easier than having to use an image hosting site.
I’m guilty of compulsive checking too. It’s so easy, I just look at the New Classifed Ads section at the bottom left and know at a glance if something has been added.
Got one! 🙂 Now only two left.
I received a WONDERFUL Windstone box last week and have been waiting for a nice, sunny day for pics! Finally, got my chance.
Here are my new little babies….I am so in LOVE!!!
Those copper flame hatchers are beautiful! And so nice that you got the set, they really look great together.
That bronze patina spectral has some seriously enigmatic coloring. Almost like it shouldn’t look good, but it really works.
I was wondering this as well.
It seems pretty clear based on the recent Ebay test paints that Windstone is casting hathcing emperors and empresses again. And with the recent restock/release of so many sculpts in copper patina, I figured it would only be a matter of time before CP hatching royalty got restocked. But of course, only the good people of Windstone know that for sure. 🙂

Oooh! He looks great! I can’t wait to see him in person. 😀
Aha! Now that I’ve seen both mahogany hatchers, I definitely have a preference for one over the other. At least now my wallet won’t get mauled too badly. 😉
I hope you were able to get the one that you wanted. 🙂
Nope. 🙁
I ended up being the second highest bidder on both of them. I prefered the empress (no grey on eyebrows, black horns), but I just couldn’t stomach paying more than $300 for a hatcher. But I’m not too bummed -I just picked up a peacock empress and lap dragon on Ebay for a steal!
Heheh. I’m hopelessly addicted. 😛

That mahogany empress is beautiful! But I have to wonder, is there going to be a hatching emperor too?
I’ve way overblown my Windstone budget for the year (already!), so I shouldn’t even think about it, but I would have to get a mahogany hatching emp if one was made, since I own the big guy.
Now I don’t know whether to bid or wait. :S
Hmmm … budgets are important (or so they say), but do you really want to explain to your Mahogany Emperor why you let his daughter go and live someplace else? 😉
Of course I’d love to get both. But but… Oh, my poor wallet. LOL
Here’s my new big guy. At first I was somewhat disappointed with him, since his patina and markings weren’t what I hoped for, but after a couple days of looking at him I’ve changed my mind. I think he’s awesome. 😀

I haven’t decided about the CP emperor… I’d need to see more pics to decide if he’s for me or not.
I promised myself last year that if CP emperors ever got restocked that I would buy one. I did, and now I’m biting my fingernails hoping that I like how he looks. I guess we’ll see in a day or two.
I will definitely post pictures once he arrives.
Use one for this month, then at the beginning of next month post the other one. That way you’ll have a raffle prize picked in advance!
Good idea!
But for this month, all I can say is empress empress empress. 🙂
I think I’m in the minority, but I like evenly distributed medium-heavy patina, a moderate amount of violet, dark antiquing between the scales, and teal eyes.
To me, that 3rd OW looks *perfect*.
Oh man, everyone has such big collections! I’m very much envious!
I got a picture of all the pieces I own while I was getting pictures for the repairs section:
Haha, yup, that’s all! They were all gifts too. (Photobucket seems to be taking a while to resize pictures today, sorry if the pic is still too large).
Maybe I can save up enough with the extra summer commissions to buy one more once my birthday rolls around.
I think that’s the most handsome rainbow young I’ve ever seen. Great photo!
This is Lexington, my staffordshire bull terrier. He is my first dog (I had to badger my parents for years to get him) and I love him to bits. 🙂
Here he is at the tender age of 9 weeks, clearly already a master at giving puppy eyes.
And a more recent picture. Lex is 10 years old now. Where does the time go?
