She has a lot of bluish-blackish-white babies I guess by different uni daddies. What I like about her is the incredible depth to her color, it ranges from purple to blue. It is very striking in person. I don’t think that comes through in photos.
Love the blue spotted poads! They are awesome. I would never get tired of looking at them. Congrats.
I hope the grab bag young Unis are still coming out soon. Just loved the last batch and would like to have one or more of them come live here and join the uni herd.
Love all the dragon collections and the beautiful orchids too. Wow, where do you live to grow such huge orchids?

Stunning, love it! Love how you painted all the little details on the base. And so subtlety painted the hippocampus, beautiful.
I hope Melody does another batch of safari young poads. I don’t have nearly enough of these girls. And I have only seen one giraffe one so far. I love reading about all these species, fascinating.
Anyone know if the safari poads are sold out? I want to order another one in case my first doesn’t arrive. Thanks.
Tracking showed my poad and hippocampus were to be delivered today. Kept checking the tracking all weekend. Left home at 8:00 am. Arrived at work at 9:00 am. Checked the tracking and it said my package arrived at my post office at 5:30 am and was delivered to my front porch at 6:11 am. Except it wasn’t. I went out at 7:00 am, no box. And my mail does not usually arrive til 11:30 am. So very down right now. Not only did I not get my Windstones, now I am out all that money. Gotta love the USPS. And I am also at the max of 1 for ordering another safari poad too, so can’t do that either. Sad.
Usually if they post office says they delivered at a ridiculous time it means someone hit a mass batch button. It will probably show up tomorrow. In the past I had lots of packages marked as delivered that didn’t show up til the next day. Good Luck!
Heck, one time earlier this year I had a priority mail package I was mailing Out from my house To someone else, and the mail person scanned it as delivered when she picked it up from my mailbox!
My Safari YP arrived in Washington DC on Sunday at 2am and she’s still there – I guess she’s taking a long Winter’s nap from her long trip from OR! Maybe she’ll arrive tomorrow? 🙂Mine got to Capitol Heights [Washington, DC area] on Sunday and then departed for an unknown destination that wasn’t my mailbox today. 🙁 It would be nice if she got here tomorrow. Of course, if she had arrived today I would know whether I wanted to snag a second Poad before they sell out! Decisions … decisions …
Well this is all encouraging. So maybe she will show up still. I find the USPS operations illogical to understand. Keep my fingers crossed. Thanks everyone for sharing your insights and experiences on this.
