I spend a lot of time in the bush with the dogs, and I love the natural eye candy. It’s definitely my happy place. The Pileated woodpecker is at our feeders. My guess is he was about 18″ long.

Stormbreeze, people are picking from the clones because they didnt get the original. If you picked an original and got it, then you dont pick from the clone (unless you are adding one to your pledge) sounds like you are good to go 🙂

Hahahaha!!! Stephanie, let me guess…with names like that, your hatchers are old AND painted by Melody?!! I recall one of the older OW test paints, and it had three colors in the name! Lmao!! The names were quite literal back then.

Just because it wasn’t claimed at the time Melody said it was leftover, it doesn’t mean the person didn’t pick it after you had that discussion with melody about it. It could have been someone with a lower backer number who just casually strolled in and chose a dragon they were entitled to.

I agree with you there, Etruscan! Since the company is using PYO eyes for some of the Bantam dragons, I wonder if they’re using PYO eyes for other sculpts too. The only time (99% of the time) you saw unique eyes on a test paint was when the piece was painted by O.C.
Witch hazel is very elegant imo. The metallic eyes were a nice touch
