I love the very bottom of the bottom wings. It reminds me of feathers. She’s beautiful.

Very pretty, Bodine.  I’ve been noticing lots more butterflies on my patio this year than years before.  They must like the hot weather.

The iridescence of the wings is so pretty. I get moths here but butterflies are fairly rare. These guys are beautiful.

I’ve never see a Luna Moth out here. I’m not sure what kind of moth this is but I saved it from drowning in a small pond I had.

I have no idea what type of Dragonfly this is, but she was over 5 inches wingtip to wingtip.

    These photos are just enchanting!!
Bodine, I have a beautiful natural shot of a Luna Moth taken by a friend in A2, MI.
As soon as my still down email is fixed will send it over to you.
Beautiful shot with wings extended; taken during daylight hours.
I have never seen one in the wild. My Mom as a child used to catch them at night like fireflies; think Luna Moths are usually nocturnal ??
