Mama unicorns!! Please oh please!!! Any and all colors!! Dappled! Appies!! Overos!! Giraffe!!! Natural real horsie colors and wild bright crazy colors!!! Light blue or teal eyes would be especially squeeeeek worthy from me!!!

My baby unis need a mama and I keep missing them!

      Thank you!

Yes! I squeek those as well!!

I know!! But we got no horns!! suckage

Please drop everything else until the horn issue can be resolved. T_T

We’ve got no more grand, male, mother, or young unis, no momma or papa ki-rins, no more scratchers, no more orientals, no more sun or moons, no more PYO unis (unless we buy pewter horned ones).

Even the horns for the baby unis and ki-rins are going to run out eventually, and then were will we be?

Please take a vacation from us and work and get the horn problem solved.

        Melody,

I have an idea for Windstone to make more money to pay for things like that monitor and camera you just needed. Sell commissions in color schemes that have already been done, e.g. for ebay pieces, but on different sculpts. Charge high $$$ for these. Some of the ebay auction final prices show there are people willing to pay that for a special piece. First commission: the Hades mother pegasus I keep squeaking for.

Thanks for all you do :).

That is a good idea, but would it depreciate the value of some of the other pieces? (test paints, specials, etc) It also seems that it could be a bit more complicated than our small scale commissions, since they are a large company an all..everyone would want melody to do their piece, and then she would be able to work on much else, would she? ( I am not saying its a horrible idea, I think it is a great idea, it would require alot of thinking out before though…)

Technically speaking, there is a disclaimer on all test-paint ebay pieces stating that Windstone may choose to do the color as production, or anything else, later, so even if it does depreciate the value of some ebay pieces the buyers knew that was a possibility when they purchased it (and it’s a whole separate problem if they paid more for the item than it was actually worth to them, but that’s a personal issue. If they did buy as an investment they should have been aware that all investments carry some risk, and this is one of them.)

And as consumers we probably wouldn’t have the option of picking who paints our piece, so long as somebody does, so Melody would probably have plenty of help from the production painters (if she decided to paint any at all).

It is from what I understand. Melody is currently close to finishing a new dragon sculpt that she has said will be for grab bags. It might be a while before it’s done and the mold is made and casting happens and all that good stuff, but eventually, yes, grab bag dragons 🙂

            Happy Birthday!!!

Personally, I’d be very excited to get (or trade for) one that looks like this:

I’ve circled some that I think look sort of like what I want, so I’d be interested in trading for those (provided they look similar in real life. I’m always really bad at telling what the GBs actually look like, vs how they look in the class photo). My #1 is currently the circled one in the second picture.

                So cute, Bodine!

I don’t get my unicorn until tomorrow. …so I’m really hoping for more pictures tonight. 😉

Mine arrived yesterday, but unfortunately I’m away at school, so I don’t get to see it until Friday night >.<

That being said I also enjoy living vicariously, so the more pictures others post the better. 😉

Kaytana, I know this is the guy you’ve been looking for, but to be honest, I’m going to have a really hard time parting with him.

Actually, I think this one is just it’s “Twin”….the picture looks a little different to me, but Kaytana would be the expert here. 🙂 I guess I think the spot by the eye looks different and the shading toward the flank seems darker on yours….and maybe different gem color?

Serendipity, yours is gorgeous! And they make a terrific trio! 😀

This one is definitely different from the one Kaytana wants. It is very similar, but not quite the same. Markings are a tad different, jewel color appears to differ, and at least from the store pic it looks like the one Kaytana wants has black lips.

So glad to hear that things are going well with the boys. You’ve been in my thoughts lately. 🙂 (And boy oh boy is Eth tall! Gee, and here I always thought my little brother was tall since he finally beat my mom (5’8″) He’s probably almost six feet now, but holy cow!) But like the others said, no matter how big he gets you’ll still be his mom <3

We have got to do something about the horn situation. Must have more unicorns! (My poor pocket book :()

yes, must have more unicorn horns made! need some more unis!

Yes. The horn issue has gone on for far too long. I know it’ll be a pain to take care of, but if ya’ll just beasted through whatever process needs to be done to deal with it I think all involved would be happier for it.

                          Amy

If I get that one he’s all yours Kaytana 🙂

If that’s the last thing he said to you it sounds like Rod has been doing a big of mind laundering *coughbrainwashingcough* over at his place. I don’t believe for one second that that’s how he really feels. You’ve always been a wonderful mother to him. I think he’s probably just feeling scared and confused because the family dynamic is changing so drastically, and he’s taking it out on you because he knows you’ll love him no matter what, so you’re a safe target. Don’t let it get you down.

Oh sweetie, never feel like nobody cares if you’re here or not. I guarantee that your kids and your family care, and we all care as well! Don’t give up!

Financial worries and visitation problems are something that I think every mom going through a divorce has to deal with at some point or another (I know my mom did). Don’t despair. I know things might seem impossible and awful right now, but as time goes on you’ll find a job and be able to take care of your expenses. Once you get yourself into a routine it’ll seem more bearable to wait until your kids graduate from high school (I know in my house we’re still doing the countdown to my brothers and myself finishing college so none of us have to deal with my dad anymore). It’s still a pain, but it’s not intolerable.

If I could offer any tips for surviving a nasty divorce, they would be this:

                                ~Don’t let him scare you
~Talk to your family on the phone whenever you feel the need
                                ~Don’t back down or surrender
~Find a job as soon as possible
~Start planning out your future once you’re free of him and your boys have graduated. Imagine moving back to Utah and how all that is going to work. Having something to cling to is important
