My parcel is just about ready to send out, all I need is the shipping label and to take it to the post office tomorrow !! Here’s hoping it survives the high mail volumes and gets to its destination in good time! (I did pack it VERY well, with extra wrapping and such 😛 )
A note to those who have to send parcels from Canada to the US… we NEED the receiver’s phone number to complete the online shipping label … so please be sure to provide phone numbers where needed to the senders 🙂 (I suppose siberakh1 will have to handle this part since only she knows who is sending to whom… 😛 ) So… please send me the phone number ASAP so I can get this in the mail tomorrow 😀
Yeah, I enjoy her work. The one you speak of I would have really loved, if only the wolf didnt have some ‘clothes’ on…..I dont like any of the anthropomorphic stuff really. I love wolves as wolves…. as beautiful wild creatures, not as creatures with human attributes. Since I mostly prefer animals, and think that humans are no where near as beautiful as wildlife and nature in its raw form 😉 ( If I could be turned into a wolf, I would want to look like a real wolf, not a human in wolves clothing, lol) …. But yeah, that is a beautiful piece, with the mountains and snow… if only the wolves were all natural 😉

Aww! I adore the Kitsune! 😀 You did a great job on the fur! 🙂 and the colors remind me of the Kitsune I’m planning on painting XD I just wanted to finish another piece in the same color scheme, I’ll show you photo’s when I get them 🙂

Kim and Angelika Zen, like I said above, and I will say it again in agreeance with you both, I HATE the global shipping program! The one and only time I used it was a little while ago to buy a black Windstone Baby Unicorn. So I get charged extra fees that I wouldnt have gotten stuck with by customs in the first place. And on top of that the tracking didnt work for me. I could only track it so far, then poof, nothing else. A week later I get a weird notification from Canada Post, from Pitney Bowes, stating Ihe a parcel enroute to me and that the shipper has processed the shipping label. It did NOT tell me who the shipper was or anything, and I had no clue what this package was that was coming to me, or WHY I had gotten this email…. and there were four reference numbers in this email, such as order #’s etc… and not ONE of them matched any of the numbers from this ebay sale, or the paypal transaction. I did not know that it was the unicorn until is showed up at my door.
I let the seller know this, as they had no delivery confirmation, no proof it was delivered because the tracking numbers didnt match up. I could have easily claimed I hadnt even gotten the item. And ebay sent me a survey regarding this sale, and I ‘kindly’ filled them in as well. I told them would NEVER buy from anyone using this global shipping program again. Its a rip off….End rant…sorry !

Im not exactly sure how things work when you live in the US and use ebay… but I have bought items from ebay, from US sellers, who DONT use the Global Shipping program. I personally HATE Global shipping… it adds on Import fees etc… which more often than not, if it had been just sent normally to me, I wouldnt have even been charged customs fees anyways… yet because of this I had to pay it. I therefor try very hard to avoid sellers who use global shipping. Again, Im not sure how it works on your end, but cant you ship outside the US without using Global Shipping? And why does ebay hold your funds? I used to sell on ebay years ago, and never had to wait like that… but again, that was years back so Im guessing things have changed.
Ebay sent me a survey a few weeks back on a transaction I did with a seller who used global shipping, and I had nothing good to say about it. The fees were unwanted, and the tracking numbers didnt work.
Etsy is a place were I see cool things for sale, not sure how that works to sell on that site. I have bought from there though.
So I ended up adding a tad more color in some places, like his legs. Then sealed him with Krylon, so I wanted to show some finished pics 🙂
Oooo…. I didnt think of that either Kim, as I said who I was in my video as well. I thought it was ok, as figured even though people may not know who I was, they may likely recognize the windstones in it 😉 I hope its ok that I did this, or I will have to try and edit those parts out.
So I got Baby Hoppy Poad #2 today, and adore him !! He is gorgeous and I am very happy with him. Seems as I been lucky so far as Im getting ones that I love and want to keep 🙂 here he is :

Well seems like I figured out why my file was so big, I had been saving it for viewing in HD… when I should have been saving it as a movie to email…. *duh* !! Ok, awesome! Thats all figured out and my file size is now WAYYYY below 100 MB 🙂
Ok cool, so I should hopefully be able to have my file all edited the way I want, then send it in to get it compressed by this kind-soul ? 😉 Guess I will eventually need that sign in info. Thanks so much to this kind forum member !

I was reading through the old quest you guys had when people had to submit a video with tips on painting PYO’s, and it was recommended that people used an online file sharing site to upload their video to, so that it could then be sent in. One site that was recommended was : hightail.com …. so maybe this is how people can send in their videos if they are over the 100MB ?
Sounds like you have the raw footage, not a version that’s compressed and out put for viewing. You should be able to get it down below 100MB pretty easily. What file type is it?
No, this isn’t the raw footage, this is edited with Windows movie maker and chopped down to only show the decent sections. Its a .WMV file type. I uploaded it to youtube already, but didnt publish it so people cannot search to find it, I only put it on there so friends and family could give me their input on it. If I do make another video, it will likely be around the same size.
I did try and compress it with WinRar and 7zip… but neither of these programs made the file any smaller…. its frustrating.
