I would love to see natural safari cougars (followed closely by fantasy tanukis). 😉
Definitely in agreement with meowmix101 on either another production run or (even better) a grab bag of arctic foxes. Loved the one on eBay, but it jumped so at the end, I didn’t even bother bidding. I went through the GB thread and they are so cute.
Still hoping to see the cougar in a production run, but a grab bag cougar…..be still my heart.
@Stormbreeze Agreed. My younger daughter absolutely LOVED the first book and was so excited for the movie only to be so disappointed.
But Peter Jackson gives me hope.
And yesterday I pulled out all my Dragonrider books – I think that will be a summer project – read them ALL (including the 2 or 3 later books I never read. 😀
The best I could come up with were Calico being some sort of sheep dog (which I see is wrong) and Timber being perhaps part lab. My daughter said sheep dog as well for Calico, but she was thinking Timber had sighthound in him (saluki/greyhound/wolfhound/etc).

Warner Bros did option the series from Anne McCaffrey’s estate less than a year ago, so the Dragonriders just might make the big screen yet. And Peter Jackson did the same with Temeraire, so…………
^^^^^^ *whimper*
Aww, man. I was a good girl and just told myself not to even THINK about the snow leopard unis. And now there are two more??????
*******recommence banging head on desk********Heehee, thanks so much for the lovely comments about my daughter’s drawing. Does a proud mama good. Actually, both my girls are outstanding artists – even if I do say so myself. 😉
@Wolfenmachine – this is the first Windstone drawing, but “Mom’s Art Gallery ” includes pictures of Temeraire, our pets, Petalwing (Elfquest, anyone?) and other lovelies. My bday and Christmas requests are always for drawings.
Now I want to go pull out my Dragonrider books.
Oh, for a fire lizard.
Dittos on the congratulations to those hardworking graduates. Good luck on whatever path you now take.
(and a personal congrats to your daughter, Bodine.)
