I received my swap piece today! Thank you so, so much Melissa, I absolutely love her! I asked for either a wolf or unicorn inspired by nature and she painted me this beautiful timber wolf with wings based on a broad winged hawk and fancy bantam chicken. She arrived with a letter and a fuzzy attached to his chocolate :D.

My swapee’s piece is on her way and due to the distance may take up to 2 weeks, I’m sorry about that and hope they don’t mind the wait.
I’m so nervous as to whether or not they’ll like it, she was my first PYO and I truly cannot compare at all to the amazing talent here! But I did enjoy painting her and I’m so happy I could be a part of the swap, thank you!Thank you so much again Melissa, I love her and have her displayed in a special place already :).

I’m speechless at the sight of this. You’re incredible and your works are truly phenomenal! I like Spectrolite too and have been attempting a piece based on it but there’s no way it compares, lol.

Here are mine!
Pearl is the baby(3 years old), she is my little pocket pug. She is very much a momma’s girl, always wants to be right with me (and only me) and snuggles up on my pillow at night (and snores). I do medieval reenactment (anyone else in the SCA?) and she comes with me to alot of events which is why she has an elizabethan ruff on in this pic:
Tank is the next youngest but older than Pearl by 4 years. He is a very sweet boy, sounds like a girl when he barks and prances when he moves. He actually only has one eye now after an accident / fight with his brither in July of 2007. He’s still my perfect little pug though.
Ickis is my oldest pug… well technically half pug. The other half is a chihuahua so we call him a ‘Chia-pug’. 😀 He is a brat, too smart for his own good. He is my ‘firstborn’ though and I wouldn’t trade him for anything.
The kitties are more my Hubby’s than mine (I know, role reversal!) but I love them just as much. Here is a pic of them ‘helping’ me with sewing (I sew costumes and gowns in my ‘free time’ from my ‘real’ work); Carmy is on the left and Neko is on the right:
Last but not least, my former horse Maximus. I had to let him go to a new home in 2007 due to various reasons but he is still very much in my heart. Thats is me on him at one of our SCA events. He is a friesian; I have a soft spot for big black fuzzy footed horses (which I am sure you all will know soon enough! LOL!)

Your Friesian is gorgeous! I’m sorry to hear you had to let him go :(. They’re my favourite breed, the first time I met and rode one was heavenly :).

Yikes, that’ still up? I think Blackdesertwind already informed John about it, she sent me a PM. Hopefully it get’s removed soon. I wonder what company produced it?
Ohh I had no idea that BDW already seen it and reported it to John…I hope they remove it or at least do something about it… 🙂
